They don't remember who they got it from and I'm annoyed because neither if us wanna give him up but we both can't keep the same design :/

But instead of fighting over it maybe just throw the idea of co-owning the design out there with them??? thats what i'd do...if worse comes to worse i can give you the $7 back for compensation?

You had it in your stash and I bought it, I doubt that you would have sold it to me if you sold it to someone else first. BESIDES THATS impossible. Since I got it a full month before they did. They said they uploaded it the day they got it and that was one month after I submitted him so maybe you sold it to them after selling it to me?

and I appreciate it but i doubt they would co own besides I kinda don't want to :/

edit: I asked them if they remember your username and what characters they traded to see if you have them / remember getting them to know if this happened or not.

honestly i dont even know what characters they had traded me in the first place all my stuff on my laptop was lost when it got wiped due to it malfunctioning

Honestly if they did get it from you, and they did submit it the day they got it, then technically it's mine because I submitted him a month before they did and that means I got official ownership of it first. So it might have been a mistake that you sold it to them ??? right? There is a chance someone could have stolen said character and sold it to them but idk I need to know if they remember trading with you or not.
