Keeping busy, KFX and a few projects over the winter. Then I got to line up some stuff for work and all that, but I'm pretty solid in that department for next year. On my third year of uni now!

I can barely handle my art school here so you're either super well at managing for time and stuff or im still new to the whole "adult" thing; but man that all sounds amazing and i didn't even know you were in your 3rd year at university! Anyhow, just want you to know you're one of the coolest people I know and one of the main reasons I keep doing art. (I just got into university for art btw!) You're unique, cool, and your animations blow everything I've ever done out of the water. Your tenacity and hard work is really inspiring and I'm honoured everyday to be your friend. Also omg you got into an art university that's awesome I need to keep scouting for back-up plans on those just in case I don't end up going to my first choice but oh man you need to tell me more about the school! I'll be at University of British Columbia Okanagan next year, I was one of their priority applications!(They really liked my stuff which is awesome.) There's plenty of good Canadian schools up here if you're looking for options! With the American dollar worth more, it's entirely possible for you to spend less if you go to a university or college here. My only piece of advice there is that British Columbia(and Vancouver in particular) is on the expensive side for housing. It's tough to find accommodation, the only reason I'm able to go to this university is because I already live in the city it's in.(Kelowna) With that being said though, there are plenty of places in Canada, and with the difference in economy between your country and mine it's possible to go to a $20,000 university program here for only $15,000. Yup, that's 25% off EVERYTHING IN CANADA for you if you bring American cash and get it switched over! Also Canada has really clean air and stuff, so in general it's just pretty great.
(I should see if Canada's tourism board is hiring with pitches like that, haha)
I'll have a lot of creative freedom in the program I picked, which is nice. There's art history classes and stuff, but the actual studio part of the course is pretty open.Β

That's so cool how you'll have an advantage with the life and living there since you're already living in the area. Hometown advantage XD haha still a 15% off of pretty much everything in Canada when using American money...it's not a lot but it IS still a pretty big discount when being compared to college money and just money towards schools in general. I may look more into the school as one of my backup plans (especially since Canada is WAY TOO FAR AWAY from where I live I'm talking about the opposite direction of where Canada is relating to being next to America). For now though, I'm not giving up so easily on my plan A which is to get into CALArts which I hope by this year my art skill will be enough for them to accept me. Onto the topic of you and the school just congrats man ouo an art school like that can only mean good things! I hope the subjects you select to major in are worth your time and that this is the school for you man! Here's to probably one day having our works coincide with one another somehow!

It's really good if you were looking into doing art programs in Canada, 25% off brings most of those down to $7500 in tuition, plus whatever other fees and stuff are in there.(So probably like $10000 by the final cost.) If you're looking at colleges local to California, try taking a look at ArtCenter College of Design. There's an Art program there, as well as film and concept art stuff. My dad went there, it's a great school.Β

Anyways I'm still looking for some and I've been getting a lot of letters from a media school in LA but it's mainly for live action stuff and I'm not that interested when it comes to that kind of medium in the entertainment indusrty :\. Plus I got another letter for an art school in Pennsylvania so I hope that school offers enough for the animation business. Still going to Canada for a college degree is something I would consider, and the ArtCenter of College is legit 45 minutes away from the city of CALArts so yeah I can always use that college as another Plan B. At least it has an animation program so I can go with that

Well you got some interest then! Even if it's not your thing, it shows that people are taking you seriously. Make the choice that works for you, I just tossed the stuff about Canada out there because I happen to know a lot of the places and staff personally, so the lower costs make it worthwhile. ArtCenter might be a good option then! Glad I mentioned it, my father enjoyed it a lot. As far as knowledge on the field goes, it's mostly due to my family's connections and my own line of work.Β

Yeah XD needed the computer cause the other one was practically dying and I needed this new one for gaming and other tech I got ewe...
It's awesome to have film schools wanting me, but I'm not that interested in live action stuff, I've been taking a class like that (cause that class also focuses on animation so of course I had to take it) and for the three years i've been in it, we never covered anything with Flash, Anime Debut, or anything with animation so I practically wasted three years in that class :/. Yeah I have to thank you for mentioning ArtCenter! I should research more of the place, it seems real good ouo.
We'll definitely try our best to do so XD! That's what I'm trying to do with my skills! I just hope I get a free period so I can do observational drawings, cause that's what I need for my portfolio. Β
