"Operating system: Lenovo"
Apparently you don't know much about computers.

I seem to recall that at one point there was a spot where we stated what computer we were using.

This will sound really dumb if I'm remembering wrong, but you're LDS, right?
I'm wanting a copy of the BOM to study for myself, but I've found out there's no mission or church on my island, so I was wondering if you had any idea where I could buy or get one otherwise.
Unless you're not a member of the church then this is just strange.

This is the entire BoM, with footnotes, online in an HTML format.
In fact, the entire canon, the current Sunday School manuals, and copies of the official church magazines dating back to ca. 1971 can be had on the church's website for free if you just want to look at digital versions.
If you want a physical copy of any of it, then as a non-member you'll need to place an order with Deseret Book ([link] ) or another LDS retailer.

Figured it out, but the one avatar I had ready to go is a touch too big (64 * 64) so I'm going to have to come up with something else.

I've got one more review beyond this week's.
**
Armada - the Decepticon invasion of Earth will continue, with casualties on both sides. And except for a lone mech and some mini-cons, one side will be completely driven from Earth.
RiD - Thanatos is about to make his move.

I just posted a review of Huffer, and have three reviews beyond that.
Once I'm done, I'll be back to Armada and RiD.
With RiD, I'm starting to write the final battle of the series.

The main thing is that she can't afford to hire a programmer to go in and fix all of the damage caused by the server.

The main thing is that you just have to keep watching for whenever people update a particular category. That's all we can do until Charl gets the $$$ together.
Anyway, did you read the new jounal entry I put up last week?

Are you using the [link] address?
If so, then I've been routinely adding new material at a rate of approximately once a week.
Charl's posted a notice on the main page about what's happening. Apparently, the server who was hosting the site changed something major without telling Charl ahead of time; this resulted in Lexicon's cache being damaged. Due to this damage, no new submissions have been listed on the main page since November.
Currently, I've submitted a few more chapters for both RiD and Armada, but I've mostly been doing toy reviews in the hopes that Charl would have the issue fixed by the time I got around to submitting RiD and Armada more regularly; for both series, I'm coming up on major incidents that will affect the rest of both series.
If you're registered as a user over at Lexicon, then simply sign on as a fan of mine. You'll get an e-mail and a private message whenever something new gets submitted.
If you'd like a more definitive fix until then, take a gander over here: [link]
That's the link to Maschinen des Kampfes, a 100% all-new continuity series I've been doing for about a year now. Aside from some recycled names, it has *nothing* to do with any previous canon.

I have to reply to you here, as otherwise the "send" button would wind up disappearing.
There's at least one chapter each of Armada and RiD that I've submitted since the cache quit working, and I might have done others; I don't remember off the top of my head.
Also, I've posted my annual author interview as well.

Back in March, and then again in November/December, I came into some large quantities of TF figures.
The bit from March was a kid deciding he was "too old" for his figures and selling them off.
November/December was me taking advantage of some sales in order to pick up a few items I'd been after.
It takes me an average of 5 - 10 minutes to crank out a figure review, and at a rate of 1 - 2 submissions per week a large cache of figures can easily represent enough submissions to last months.
This gives me time to work on my actual RiD and Armada chapters, as depending upon how much time I have and what I'm trying to have happen, it can take me a while to actually get it finished.

Storm-Blue In reply to Ironhold [2007-03-12 22:45:32 +0000 UTC]
Ah, I see. I don't have many TFs and the ones I do have (minus Primus) are all twisted uo cause my brother got a hold of them. As for the fan fics it takes me MONTHS to do one chapter, and the first few chaps of most of my series needs to be rewritten because I started back them way back when I was a bad writter and the plot has changed since then. However I have signed up on that site but I've yet to post anything because, like I said, I need to rewrite the first chapters but I'm not going to do that until I acually finished the whole story. Do you think I should just go ahead and post it anyways?

Ironhold In reply to Storm-Blue [2007-03-13 01:56:48 +0000 UTC]
It's up to you; right now, I'm about the only one who is regularly submitting to Lexicon (due in large part to the cache problem), and that's only because I don't want the board to appear abandoned.
What I may do is ask Charl how she's progressing with getting the damage fixed and if she has an estimate as to how long it will be in getting the board back up to par.
