Whoooa! Those look really, really good! Yep, you got the name right: Dark Hour

The feedback in the thread does bring up a good point. I've had a few people mention that on book one they thought the author's names should stand out more, so when designing the logo for book two, something that accommodates that might be best. Number 3 does look to be the best of the three, but if it helps you to decide on the best approach, the cover art for #2 will have a lot of neutral tones and fire-colors (the portals in book two are described to be burning, in appearance).

It is indeed! Ivan Jast is one of the main Portal Hunters, though I should have used Traush since we have art for him already (he's the guy on the cover firing the gun). Oh, well.

I love to read the book, I'll be sure to get it from my dad. I'm gonna start the cover this weekend. I don't know how long it'll take though.
