# About me

I am a traditional and digital artist with a wide interest in cartoons and anime/manga art to name a few. Photography is another passion of mine especially natural artwork and the contrasts in black and white images. My love of art began when I received Hitoshi Okuda manga books at the age of 11. I spent hours reading the No Need for Tenchi books and designing outfits for the characters. My mother is a watercolour painter and is an inspiration to me; this is when I started to focus on different types of art such as portraits and still life. Most recently Natasha Allegri has influenced my art, I am a big fan of Adventure Time and am fascinated by the sheer amount of detail and (varying/vibrant) use of colours she uses when creating the characters. She is a master at giving cartoon characters unique designs and costumes. I believe art should be about the thrill of creation and making people smile at the finished result. I'm currently an undergraduate studying Fine Art with the dream of one day becoming an illustrator or graphic novel artist.
