That's such a hard choice...as much as I want to say Aang/Katara, I'm going to have to say Iroh because of his wisdom, love, and unwavering faith that Zuko will find his way to the right path. Also his obsession with tea xD

no problem, I remember my first day here, it's actually a pretty funny story. Some girls in the disney fandom thought I was working for a troll because I'd interacted with a user who had been trolling the girls and I had to explain to them that I was not involved with the troll and those girls are now some of my best friends, crazy how the world works. 

Iroh is a lovely character, he's someone who never gives up on you and always has the best intentions. For me, I know this is the cliche but I love Zuko. Zuko's a nice guy but has had rough moments and he's someone you sympathize with and want to be at peace. His voice actor is a sweetheart, lovely guy.

Oh yeah, it was nuts, a crazy way to begin a crazy journey. I actually had an account before this one but i did not do anything with it and forgot my password so I came up with this one and it's been my account since. I was in the disney fandom when I started but in 2013, I was reintroduced to the Avatar fandom which was a fandom I'd been in since it's founder ship and on new years eve, I met this lady who was also an avatar fan and she suggested my current username so that's how I became FireNationPhoenix. I've heard of gimp from my friend Sara, she uses it for coloring sometimes. 

Yeah, Zuko is very multidimensional. He is loved by the ladies. Funny enough though, my cousin has a 5 year old family friend who visits us sometimes and she can't stand Zuko, gets very tense whenever she sees him on the screen. But for the most part, people love him, my six year old cousin adores him. Yes, Dante Basco made that cameo in Korra, of course he did XD.

I got introduced to Avatar by my cousins and I think I've pretty much rewatched the show 3 times. There is a new comic coming out soon so I'm pretty excited!!

I've still got a long way to go before I'm completely established, I've only recently begun digital artwork and collaborations and that's been helping me get out there more. I'm glad you like my username, if I ever see Audrey again, I'll tell her that her idea for my username really caught on. 

Zuko does grow on you, though my family friend is a very sensitive girl, but maybe she will learn to like him. 

Wow, your cousins? I got into it after seeing the first trailer 12 years ago, been a fan ever since. I'm so exited for North and South, a water tribe comic is what I've been waiting for. Have you read smoke and shadow yet?

digital art is something I can't get away from since I've begun doing it, you should do collabs in the future, they are always fun. 

15 years ago, I had never known what the internet was myself, but I'm growing up, I have my own apartment room, I live alone, am trying to get a job, oh the joys of adulthood. 

I loved seeing Azula again, always a crowd pleaser. I hope to see more of her in the future. Also, Zuko's baby sister being a fire bender, awwwww I hope he's her fire bending teacher. She loves her Zuzu

Azula is one of the characters I really sympathize because she was a culmination of brainwashing, fierce determination, and parental failure, which is ultimately really sad. I really do hope she gets better though. I would love to see her and Zuko get along c: And yeah Zuzu makes such a great big brother~~~

Awww baby toothless, those big eyes and yeah, I enjoy Teen Titans, one of my favorites as a kid, though I'm more of a marvel fan now than a DC fan. Time really does fly, childhood is bliss and then reality hits. 

Azula needs to be loved, I also hope she gets better. She's got the potential. and the whole Kiyi calling Zuko Zuzu thing, downright adorable. Cutest thing ever when she meets him for the first time, you'd think a little girl would be scared of him but she took to him really fast.

I'd love to have toothless as a pet, he's just so darn cute. My friend Brian does both universes, owns both the largest Marvel and DC groups on dA, and he's the nicest guy. 

She's a cutie, Zuko sure thinks she's cute. The way he treats her though later on is more fatherly than brotherly, and she's a lucky girl to have Zuko. A friend of mine and I wrote an AU back in December where kiyi instead meets Zuko in season one after getting separated from her parents, ending up with the gaang for a while and then getting captured by Zuko who initially intends to use her as avatar bait not knowing she's his sister and he eventually bonds with her after she stays on his ship for a while(she eventually gets back to her parents). It was a collab thing we did and we had fun writing it.

I don't think anyone would pass off the opportunity to have Toothless as a pet xD But honestly I'd love to have dragons exist I'm a huge fan of them c: I'm trying to get more involved/join more groups here on dA; maybe I'll begin to branch out after I've run out of ideas for new art lol 

Dang that AU sounds super cool and it's honestly a very original idea c: I see too much fanfiction around that repeat ideas that have already been used before, if you know what I mean.

Nothing cuter than a nightfury, well, maybe a sky bison is as cute. Groups are fun but always apply for a membership with caution because while most managers are happy to do their jobs, there are some who should not be managers.  

I thought it was interesting, Kiyi first meets Zuko in The Waterbending Scroll and is terrified of him but after he comforts her during The Storm, she begins to trust him and bond with him. One interesting thing my friend and I came up with was Kiyi having a fear of fire and eventually growing out of that as well and that makes it all the more interesting since she is a fire bender.

Aww Oogie might be cuter than Appa, I love all his lil stripes and the brown ears are just....awwwww. And for groups, it's the same when job hunting, apply for jobs with caution as not every boss deserves to be a boss. I'm lucky my bosses are so wonderful, nice guys 

Yes, do write fanfics, The fic my friend and I cam up with was only a private thing, never publicly published so if you want, you and I could collab on a public version of that fic.

Oh yes, bison tea party! I'd love to have one as a pet, so fluffy. Confession, I like to listen to background music while on dA, especially Ghibli scores, it really relaxes me. Classical music is my favorite
Fics are a lot to handle. You know, for North and South, I was hoping Zuko would join the gaang in going to the south pole as he owes Katara's granny and a few kids an apology for attacking the water tribe. Your thoughts on weather or not zuko should accompany the gaang?

I can't listen to music while I write essays, I have ADHD really bad and almost any kind of noise will distract me from whatever school thing I'm working on. I also have terrible short term memory and forget anything I hear on the first time right after I hear it. 

Zuko is a big part of the gaang and kind of the leader in a way, and a big brother to aang and toph. He does have a country to run though like you say. I have this head canon that after aang died, he was like a stand in grandfather for Tenzin's kids and had a particular bond with Jinora. he was probably like an uncle to the gaang kids. 

I do wonder what he was like as a father to Izumi, also, you think he should have had a son or daughter and why?

Ahhh I see! I have problems remembering things I don't wanna remember lol. As a kid if my mum told me to do something and I didn't want to, *poof* goes all traces of that memory!

I would also like to think that Zuko and Katara grieved over Aang together and helped each other through the tough time while maintaining a strong front for Katara's grandkids. 

Judging by how Izumi turned out, he was firm but also kind and loving and he really taught her well. Honestly think that him having a daughter is perfect I can imagine him being super excited and doting on his daughter and glaring at boys that tried to hit on her.

I know, it's the things I don't think to much about that I forget, like someone's name. My family calls me dory, I think that's accurate. 

Are you a Zutarian by the way?

Also, Zuko having a girl is as cute as it gets, I'll bet you Izumi's first word was dada. I think it's been made pretty clear that Zuko can be extremely loving. 

For that AU I wrote with my friend, We wrote a scene where Zhao boards Zuko's ship to interrogate him because Zhao is well, Zhao, and also purposefully intimidates Kiyi before Zuko kicks him off his ship. When we wrote the blue spirit, we had Zuko, and Iroh take Kiyi off the ship to do some supplies shopping and Kiyi wanders off from Zuko and ends up getting captured by Zhao while later on after looking for Kiyi, and after going in as the blue spirit to find aang, he hears Kiyi scream and lets Aang go to go back into Zhao's fortress to save her but after getting her out and back to the ship, he's very angry with her and says it's because she cost him the avatar but he's actually angry because he didn't want her to get hurt. We later wrote in a scene where he finds out Zhao burned her arm and Zuko goes from being angry at her to doting on her. It was an interesting thing to write.

That's an interesting development and definitely could have happened with Zuko's protective streak.

Yes, Zuko is very protective of Kiyi, he's got a big soft spot for her. Interestingly, when Aang goes into the crypt to save the kids, they all are like "Hi Avatar" but the second they see Zuko, they hide behind Mai and Ukano. There's no "hi mr firelord", and several kids look absolutely terrified of him. Why is that? Zuko's a nice guy.

zuko could be a little scary to a young kid who doesn't know him and what he's like. though why wasn't kiyi afraid of him when she met him? she went right up to him and probably got a good look at his scar and had no problems with it.

Zuko's a bit intimidating, especially in book 1, so yeah, she's be a little shy. I did write one little sequence where Zuko and Kiyi are having a late dinner on the ship after Iroh went off to bed and Kiyi falls asleep at the table and Zuko picks her up and takes her to bed himself which is usually Iroh's job. 

on the fire bending training, how would Zuko react if Kiyi accidentally got burned? He's sensitive about that kind of thing.

That's part of the game, the workout part sucks but that's why they call it Pokemon Go


Throwing poke balls is annoying, especially with flying type Pokemon. Though the worst part of the game are the endless weedles and rattatas.
