here ya go !Élie tilted his head to one side as he stared up at the grey, cloudy skies. It was the middle of autumn, but with how the weather had been looking recently, one would think it was the beginning of winter. He supposed this made a bit of sense, since winter was fast approaching. He couldn't believe that November was almost over. Just yesterday it had felt like October started. He sighed bit and turned his attention forward, a pensive frown soon appearing on his lips. Right now he was at the park, sitting down on one of the numerous benches scattered about. Normally he'd be inside his apartment, as he disliked being out in the middle of the day, but he found this particular day to be an exception. With the sun hidden by the clouds, he didn't have to worry about the rays causing him any pain or discomfort. Sunlight couldn't kill him, though it did hurt him terribly.
He did consider going back home, though. Sitting here was beginning to become a bit boring, but that was probably because he came here by himself. Perhaps he should have asked someone in his contacts to come along. Oh well. He'd just have to ask one of them next time. He sighed again and leaned back against the bench, letting out a small groan. "God, I hate this..." he said quietly to himself.

/ probably on his way to squeeze out some info about a demon lurking about
/ but it was rush hour and it was as if everyone and their mother had the idea to walk on the route he was taking
/ and not having enough personal space really made walking without seeing a thing difficult

/ his trustful cane guiding him forward
/ everything was fine and dandy until a dude rushes right past him

/ they crashed right into aurelius in their hurry and knocked the precious cane right out of his hands, not even saying sorry for what he caused
/ aurelius cursed under his breath and dropped down on one knee, trying to feel for the familiar wooden rod laying somewhere on the pavement
/ it was moments like these that he absolutely hated not being able to see
/ everyone must be staring at him now, looking down on him..
/ this was utterly humiliating

[ ☆ ] Albert was making his way home from work, dealing with whatever crowd he had to walk into sufficiently okay.
[ ☆ ] Coincidently another man- a blind man with a cane that just happened not be lost on the ground with violently stopped feet came to a stop upon gently tapping the man with the metalic end of the cane.
[ ☆ ] Was this a person or an object? The texture said otherwise.

"Are you down there sleeping, or do you need help?"
[ ☆ ] His words were hesitant, making sure something atleast made living noises would respond.
[ ☆ ] If not he's probably talking to a fire hydrant. He'll get over it if that was the case and brush it off.

/ the tap on his shoulder had aurelius whip around with a start
/ his pale blue eyes were wide open in alarm until albert spoke up
/ calm down, it's not the tip of a gun-
/ having had demons sneak up on him made the angel jumpy whenever approached from behind
/ but it was okay, it was safe here
/ he couldn't sense any lurking around
/ there was a brief moment of silence before all the tension in his body melted away and he spoke up

/ for once he decided to be nice and not snap at a person trying to help
/ he was so embarrassed by this whole ordeal that he just wanted to find the damn thing and get up from the ground
/ aurelius only hoped that his slacks wouldn't get stained by anything on the pavement and give him even more trouble later back home

[ ☆ ] He stood still, as people walked around them like a clump of molding ants going where ever they were useful.
"I highly doubt it flew away, it should not be that hard."
[ ☆ ] Albert dragged his own across the ground lightly from himself to around him and around the other until being stopped by the wooden one the other has been looking for.
[ ☆ ] He moved to pick it up.
"I hope this is yours. The texture is a bit off than something someone would usually have."

/ it actually hadn't rolled off too far, thankfully
/ the blondie was quite pleased with the situation until he picked up on the quiet words
