All of your work is just great af and I couldn't resist the urge to comment. I was actually really curious of your artist process, like how you developed your style to how you decide what a piece will look like. Your personality seems like you just throw it down and make it work haha.

and ty for the compliment. i don't really know how to answer your question without getting into really long and laborious whinings about my art woes. but the short answer is that i've always been drawn to a painterly but graphic style of art. i kinda just kinda started painting last year and really analyzed what i value, what i have done that i don't like and what i have done that i do and i work to develop that further with each new paint, what's missing. i don't know where i'm going but i try to turn off external influence as much as i can (even though it's really impossible) to focus on what i'm developing.
you caught me i do throw shit down and then undergo the frustrating process of making it work. this past bit i've been really trying to plan out the things that often cause me to go back and repaint in the beginning stages. things like facial planes and colour flows/gradients, but its still pretty much a blob that i sort of engage in an additive/subtractive process because i find it a lot easier to find the final image in the paint rather than preplan it laboriously and be constricted.
ugh that still turned out long. note me if you got any further questions i'm actually really flattered that you'd find my art worth asking about
