I'm a busy mom of 4. I recently turned 30---which I dont love. I've been married nearly 13yrs. I love photography and sewing whenever I have a spare minute or two...which isn't very often since all 4 of the kids are pretty active!

You make me jealous with your wonderful quartet of photogenic models. I will be heading to Casa de La Esperanza this Sunday and hopefully I will come back with some wonderful photos to post in my gallery. As a teacher, I don't think I can use my kids as subjects. Perhaps I will turn them into sketches to get away with it! Please check out my gallery. I am totally inspired by your awesome work. I hope to see more wonderful experiments like the pirates in the future!

Thank you SO much Im pretty lucky they're so willing to let me practice on them I had a look through your gallery and its great! I love the sketches. I look forward to new photos!
You will certainly see more neat stuff like the pirate shoot In fact, you'll probably see more pirate photos. I showed my friends and my brothers and sisters the pirate photos and they all loved the idea. My daughter turned 2 today and her party is tomarrow and we're having a big pirate themed party INCLUDING costumes for all the kids and a treasure hunt I cant waiiit Im sure between the 12 kids coming Ill manage some nifty photos

Shame on you, it's all your fault!

Here I figured I would upload a few photos, clear out my devwatch (in general), and then get back to working on things that need to get done (since I'm so far behind especially because of my site and now the return to Ren again this weekend) but now I'm distracted - and it's all your fault.

Your gallery as a whole but then especially the most recent uploads as of this moment appears to contain a lot of set-up portrait shots. Myself, I've always been spontaneous and have found failure when I request to take a photo, when time is actually taken to hopefully get "that perfect shot." Your talent as a photographer is just as great as the images themselves in my opinion. If it weren't for a good photographer, anybody can carry a big fancy camera but if they don't know how to use it to the best of its ability, their images can look worse than an experienced photographer behind a cheap camera (and yes, I have someone in mind who brags about having a DSLR yet their pictures are, well... not very good in many ways).

Anyway, figured I would take a sec to just leave a general statement too though I imagine I'll have to leave my mark in a few images as well

I really want to thank you for all of your comments. You have been so amazingly sweet and encouraging. No one around me seems to understand this whole photography obession I have. So its really nice to actually get feedback instead of 'uh. yeah. okay. its a nice picture'. You always make me smile...and I always end up thinking more in depth about whatever photograph you comment on.
