Me and some buds spent the Norwegian independence day longboarding one of the most crazy, beautiful places I've ever been. It was madness! ... And when we woke up the day after it was mad windy and cold, so we drove home.

The 16th was amazing though. Skating in my t-shirt, BBQ'ing and just rocking it!

Loads of pictures too. Maybe some will be submitted. T'least on Facebook.

Frances left yesterday after an awesome 5 day stay! We fixed up my room, so now I have blinds and a shelf. I love my room now

I have school off this Monday because we have this holiday where we celebrate our countries men and woman from the military. Memorial Day

But to everyone its just an extra day off.

Crisp details =] I would try experimenting more with light and I feel this picture would be better if the object had more natural surroundings.

ohhh ahahha -kinda slow-

Well as you know (or at least I think you do) I'm in ROTC, and every year we have this dance for just ROTC and we dress up, dance, eat cake, blah blah blah. And its really fun. The Juniors (which I am) give awards to the Seniors. Like giving them funny names that represent them. My friend Alexis, my best friend Kim and I where going to do this all together but the Senior staff had a bitch fit about it and said that only two of us could do it. So Alexis said that kim and I would do it (after i fussed about how Alexis and kim should do it but she wanted me to) and yeah. So the dumb part. My noes is pierced, and this is a dance ya know? We are suppose to be having fun. One of the head senior officers basically said that I couldn't do any speeches or say anything if I was wearing my noes ring. He said it was not in "regulation". Regulation means like- wearing your uniform and looking military like but all the girls are going to be wearing gowns adorned with earrings and he is telling me that that is in regulation
I've decided that I'll take my noes ring out for the speech but right after ill put it right back it.
Its so stupid, ya know? Do you understand where I'm coming from?
So I was really really angry >_<




I'm sick as a dog right now I didn't go to school today >_< I feel like my head is going to explode

When things like these happen I just have to smile because it goes to show that the people enforcing the regulations aren't doing it for the people, but for themselves. None of the people watching would have a problem with a nose piercing in this day and age. Fine, the military dress code is probably way more strict, but not letting your American freedom seeing as you're not enrolled (as of yet ) is strange and backwards.

I'm sorry you're feeling ill. I'm fine, although it rained to night so it's all gloomy and wet outside. BUT you have to check out my kick ass wallpaper in my recent submission. It's what I have in my room. One of my room mates is painting his room so it's kinda messy. T'will be awesome when we have everything up and running with out having the place looking like a war zone.

It snowed yesterday and this morning and today the roads where really really icy and when I came home from school for lunch I had to take the garbage out and I went to turn around from the garbage can and I slipped back wards, fell onto my back, and slammed my head into the ground. My whole head still hurts and my neck is killing me

Well this is what happened. We have to do this thing in US History called a current event, its a power point about a well...current event. We had to do them in freshman year but I never got to do mine because someone did theirs on the same article. SO this was my first time ever doing a current event. ever. and I got up there and did it (my presentation was on the recession going on here right now) and after wards I went to my teacher to see the grade I got and he said I did really really good on my presentation and i got close to full marks (like 95%) BUT I was looking down while i was reading sometimes because that's what i do when i get nervous when i present and i was not even looking down the whole time and he said "well it hurts your grade alot" and guess what. He gave me a D!!! a D! thats 68%! "oh you did so good" Then why did you give me a D for reading my notes when I have never done this before!!!

That really sucks, and if I were you I'd write him a note or right up confront him. These are your grades. If he still thinks that your minor note reading meant that much then ask another teacher for a second opinion on the matter. You should have a teacher that 'watches over' your class or a group that you're in.

Btw! I got my old mans trumpet so I'm trying to get the hang of playing the trumpet again. There are some kick ass jazz musicians out there and if I could get even half a clean notes as them I'd be super happy
