It was very sad. That shot where you first realized that she's been hit - I literally screamed out "NO!!" at the screen. Rather tearfully, as it were.

I know, right? It's like, this is what he wanted, but not really. He and Penny were about to discover something *real* — and then it just kind of ... blargh.

It's *quite* well-done, though. And the creator says it couldn't have ended any other way.

I believe it. Otherwise he just wouldn't have been Dr. Horrible. He would have been Dr. Happy which just isn't as imposing, you know?

That's one of the reasons I couldn't be an evil genius. I refuse to lose anyone I'm that in love with who shares fun chats over fro-yo. Though if I did, I would become Dr. Awful. The world would rue the day I was born. No joke.
