For one thing, I didn't make any sort of "deal" whatsoever. For another, what actually happened was that Dr. Wernicke helped me after his soldiers shot at me. As far as I know, they thought I was a patient there. I woke up in a hospital a few days later, wounded and scarred, but alive. And as for the Walrider... He's still fused with me. But I have control over him now.
