My parents are from Taichung and Singapore(which is an entirely different country :U)
And because English is used alot in Singapore and my mom homeschooled me through elementary to middle school (going into middle school, dont kill me) I'm in the same position as you for Mandarin XD

I can speak it well (rated 8/10) and understand the majority of it XD 
but no, I am so bad and reading and writing ;3;

Im being homeschooled till 6th grade (which is this year) ;3;

and I went to taiwan and I lived there for a year, I was held back cause my Chinese wasn't good enough, so I took 3rd grade twice XD and skipped 4th grade cause Im smarter than most kids my age but I only use my brains to wiggle my way out of trouble and sneak candy from right under my parentds ;w;

Omg, I'm sorry this response is over 2 months late ;-; I could never forget you! You're a great friend, after all! And thanks~ Though I have yet to take the SAT, cuz it was postponed due to that huge winter storm  All well, more time to prepare, haha.

As for the friend problems, well, actually just this Monday, we talked to each other (for the first time in 2 months) through that snapchat messaging thing, and though it was a good talk, I made the final decision to stop being friends. After all that shit she put me through (not the first time this happened), it was best if she and I stopped being friends. Sorry for all of a sudden throwing this at you
As for classes, I'm taking AP US (it's so hard, omg that's what she said), two honors courses, and the rest as regular courses. You know how junior year is, it's overwhelming at times

Ah, and as for that friend, well it's really awkward and complicated now. She came back again about 3 weeks ago and asked me to help with getting my other friend together with their prom date (cuz they don't talk to each other and it was a surprise when the prom date guy asked her). Then she went on to apologize again... and asked if I wanted to be friends again. Ugh. Yeah, that's not happening. I mean like, I'll help with the plan and stuff, but I don't want to be friends again. I feel like she's pressuring me because she went on about how I was a better friend than most of her other friends.

AP US and Pre-Calc are the causes of my stress in school ;-; sometimes I have to sacrifice some of my sleep hours just to study for the tests and many times the results just aren't what I need them to be...

Ooh, college applications, stressful, aren't they? What college do you want to go to and what do you want to major in? I really want to major in international relations, but politics are kind of confusing

Oh, I've heard of osomatsu-san! Not too sure on what it's about though, haha, except that there are 6 brothers, I think?

Me? Hmmm... you seemed to have caught me on a bad today.. I just found out a few hours ago at my dentist appointment that I need to get 2 teeth pulled I'm really scared about it because they're my wisdom teeth (they don't come out till you're in your 20s, I'm 17) and the oral surgeon has to cut my gums, take them out, and then stitch my gums back together.. I have to be under sedation (put to sleep) so I'm just really nervous.. >.<

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dump all that on you.

Oh, I heard about the operations they do to get the wisdom teeth out   It sounds so scary (I'm pretty squeamish....) I hope it goes as smoothly as it can get o.o At least you're asleep while they take out the teeth, I thought people were just given anesthesia. Do you know when you're going to get them pulled out?
It's a bit ironic that after I asked you how you were, you found out about the surgery, and when you said not to get too stressed about school.....Things just got so much more stressful
I just found out that I did pretty terribly on my tests
Oh, I can't wait for the new story! I just know it's going to be amazing!

And my mom once had to be sedated, she said they put you to sleep in seconds after getting the shot and then you wake up feeling like it was only a minute, when it was really the entire surgery. And that's it.
I'm kind of glad--at least I won't feel the pain till after. My mom once had to get her teeth pulled and she said the real pain is the few days after, so ... at least she's honest  

I'll probably get it done in like a month from now. Since they have to do check-ups before they pull them and stuff. Anyways, thanks for your concern >///<

At least the surgery won't seem long Though I hope that it won't be too painful after the surgery.....And that the surgery date will land on an ideal date, like before the weekend so you can recover well 
Yeah, the tests affected my main grades, which isn't good at all because the second semester is starting soon

Nope, I can't get them up anymore. We don't really have extra credit at my school, except for the once in awhile extra question on tests.....
As for my favorite APH character~ Norway, always, hehe. Though I love all the characters in Hetalia (especially England, Spain, Iceland, and Hong Kong), I have an extra soft spot for him~  I was going to ask you who your favorite character was, until I remembered it was America :3 I don't really have any favorite OTP's, since most of the pairings are yaoi I'm so sorry, I know you have OTP's like America and England But there are other pairings that I think are cute, like Turkey x Ukraine, and Spain x Belgium.

I mean, I like it too, but it feels like literally everyone in the Hetalia fandom ships yaoi pairings, that it's actually difficult to find hetero APH shippers. I also really like hetero ships, like SpaBel too! I freakin' love that pairing! I also like NethBel, RomaBel, LuxBel, EngBel and basically every other Belgium pairing for some reason Don't even get me started on Ukraine pairings =7= Romania x Ukraine is like, one of my top OTP's~ Turkraine is sweet too

Btw, have you ever read hetero APH pairings on fanfiction.net? They're better than most reader-inserts, in my opinion. Mostly since they're actually multi-chaptered and not just one-shots! it's hard for me to find multi-chaptered fics on dA
For some reason I just really wanna recommend you some, haha... 'cause like I mentioned, I don't come across many other hetero APH fans jdfahksdjsa--

Wow! Being a straight-A student is very impressive! I wish I were one ._. Though I'm an underachiever so.....T-T
I like Iceland a lot too~ When I came across Hetalia again after a few years, I couldn't decide whether I liked Iceland better than Norway. And before that there was the great fiasco of having an enormous crush on England and Spain -.- Funny thing is though, when I first watched Hetalia, I became immediately infatuated with Japan and then Greece. I was 11 at the time, yet I didn't think any of the characters were hot and basically disliked almost every one, cuz they had something in their personality that I thought was was annoying.....
And I see that a majority of the fandom comprises of girls from ages 12-16, completely obsessing over yaoi and not respecting other people's opinions.

I'm sorry, I went off topic I've been holding that in for that past 3 months. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't offend you by not liking yaoi, and I can't tell you how relieved I was when you said you were glad I wasn't a yaoi fan!

Honestly, I'm not involved too heavily on any ships, though I wouldn't mind reading a few of those stories you mentioned

Well, I was a fan when I was around 11, but I dropped out of the fandom until I discovered it again in December 2013. So ever since then, I've been keeping up with the manga and I've tried not to be too involved with the fandom cuz, after seeing the intensity of the shipping wars and the hate on the anime/manga, I've been scared into keeping low o.o
