I miss rping with you and the others, you still, by far, had one of the best FC/OCs that was fun to rp with. 
Star's changed a lot- nothing written on paper of course (I am terrible at updating bios)- and I haven't been to the sega site since it seemed to be over run with new-age fans.

lol Yeah. The first real group of rpers I meant that taught me the proper way to rp and make fan characters. 
I got out of the sega site when I heard about Sonic Boom that was going to be released and they changed Knuckles. Plus way too many little teens who think one sentence qualifies as a rp thread.

I was gone long before Sonic Boom became a thing, lol. I just kinda fell out of it. Once we stopped roleplaying there wasn't much tying me down to the place, so I moved on to bigger and better things.

And yeah, there were a lot of those one-liner roleplayers around. Personally that doesn't bother me as much so long as they can get their point across. I've had some people whose replies were just things like "hmph" or "whatever". That's what bothers ME. If your reply doesn't keep the story rolling, what's the point?

Yeah, true. 
it's like people just regurgitate a few canon phrases and never think to move past canon to give them a vocabulary. 

I mostly rp in the One Piece fandom now. More fans closer to my age group, tons of characters to choose from, and so many possibilities for OCs.

I'm still with the Sonic fandom, but I hardly ever roleplay these days. I'm more focused on stringing up most of the past roleplays into an ongoing storyline.

It was alright.

Couldn't do much what with it being winter (surprisingly warm and wet) and so soon after the Christmas and New Years holidays.

It's a diffrent part of Canada that got hit by a record cold snap.

Closet? No, my closet is cold and smells a bit musty.

Lastnight was cold though. I had my puppy keeping me warm for a while until she wanted out. Then I was freezing ontil one of my cats came to cuddle with me. She was cold too.

... yeah. Where else is our puppy supposed to go potty? (Although she tried to use the litter box...)
It was hard to break her of her "paper training" because it was getting to the point where it be too much rain (she didn't like rain at first) and she'd want back into the house then potty on the floor. 
But if you keep taking them outside, not letting them get used to the idea that the outdoors is "optional" because of the weather, the bad weather doesn't bother them as much.

They handle it fine. If it's too cold, like freeze your nose hairs together cold, they lift their feet when they are cold and have had enough.
But they get to eat snow balls, make doggy snow angels...that look like a patch of packed down snow, slide down slopes to scratch their butts, they have fun.

I don't think the chatroom is being used anymore.

The glitching, and the constant server crashes made it hard to rp in as well as people kept lurking looking for sex rps.

I use Chatzy now for private rping.

The group is still open though.

Yeah, well the chat was crap anyways with it's glitches and hard to read colours. Chatzy is better and totally browser based with no flash. So it doesn't have the flash closing problems.

You should really check out the tumblr fan base. Also, Crocodile made a bad ass comeback, I've been watching some AMVs on youtube about him and it shows a lot of his sand abilities.

the pirate warrior games are good if your looking for something like dynasty warriors, you can download them on the playstation network or xbox live, I suggest getting pirate warriors 2 since it has a lot more characters

It's not about disappointing me.
You should make a better character for yourself, and work on improving it for yourself. :3 when you make something you can be proud of, and one that can work in the theme your going for, then you have more fun and pride.

I've already begun to make a whole new character. and in all honesty, I do feel much better about this one. He'll also be a lot easier to use! I can't thank you enough for making me step back and totally rethink my characters

lol, no problem.
Consider it one rping helping another like another rper helped me.
When I entered a different fandom and mentioned the idea of my OC, I had a lot of feed back. Some things were over done and not original and they explained that to me and how people with that kind of character tend to get ignored and don't get asked to rp.
Because of them I made a character that was truly my own and original, and it turned out to be one of the best characters I made. People liked it, I was invited to lots of rps and had people like my rp plots so much they wanted to join my rps or just read them for fun.

without the help of those rpgers, I probably wouldn't have made a few new rp friends and expanded my knowledge for character creations.

Yes, But one of my favorite parts from blade I'm going to keep. His mission to collect the flowers, I realize now that didn't go well at all with Blade since he was all tough and dark. But this new character is a sweet heart and I think it goes great.
