Just as a random passerby, I thought you might like to know, in high school I named my backpack Jimothy. We got married (with a ceremony in the commons...no expense was spared!) and he was my soul mate...always carrying my things without complaint! He was just thoughtful like that. Then he got some holes...and started falling apart. I left him for a woman. Penelope is her name...she's beautiful. Sure, she's dark and mysterious on the outside, but she's a vibrant orange when you look inside! She's always there for me, usually next to my feet. Meanwhile, Jimothy sat in my closet, holding long forgotten papers from my senior year....And then we moved houses, so things had to go. He was one of those things. Jimothy was a good backpack....

...that is sad yet heartwarming. It sounds like you and Jimothy were the best of companions while you were together, and that is what's important. Like that kids' book about the tree that the boy mutilates...in the end the tree just wanted to be a masochistic stump for the boy (now an old man) to sit on. The tree is like, 'man, it's OK...I wanted you to use me to death, because what we have is a true friendship.' Which is what I'm sure Jimothy would say.

I'm dandy! Kinda in frantic mode to get me strips done on time. I got yelled at my one of my watchers to start uploading in a timely fashion again. D: I was a bad artist.

I went for three months without posting and felt soooo awful about it I was almost afraid to come back. I think I got less then 10 pages done in 2010...ack! Time moves frightfully fast.
I don't want to make my comic too serious...more like realistic. I'm really intrigued by philosophy and the sort of subtle character development that there isn't time for in movies. I don't think The Dark Knight is a serious movie, but it has serious ideas in it...if that makes any sense? I've always been more drawn towards the villains, because they're usually more interesting, and found myself rooting for the Joker b/c Nolan's Batman is such a fascist.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Your comic really cracks me up and makes a lot of astute observations. Good luck with everything!
