your very welcome =) (Smile) i love your work. I'm not much of a digital artist myself...mostly traditional. But i have done a few digital ones. Nothing compared to yours though. Can you send me the link to the photo reference you used for that Zhang Zihi one? I think id like to try a pencil drawing of it.

Umm, I don't seem to be able to find the version I had. All I did was a search on Google Images for Zhang Ziyi. I may have also added Hero into the search parameters too. This is the largest I could find right now: [link]
I have a feeling I managed to find one that was higher res than that though.

I found one. Thanks! I tried it out last night. Mine is nowhere near as good as yours...but for my level i think it came out alright

your welcome =) (Smile) i absolutely love your work! I've always been very interested in the Characters of Galadriel and Celeborn. Its cool to see different parts of their life and character in your work. I also love how you use the actual actors from the films in your art

your welcome :) (Smile) i love your art!! i really wanna try using the kind of paper that you use. i think it looks awesome on that paper. So apart from the white pastel pencil, you use just a regular pencil?? i really like your Gimli portrait

Actually I use the following things:
White pastell and pitt pencil + a mechanical pencil (most of the time, with HB or 2B lead). If I need darker shade, than usually 4B, up to 6B.
If you go over the softer pencil with a harder one that it will look nice and don't look too different ^^
