I apologize if my photographs offend you. Here is the link to my other deviant Premium account where not everything is Winter Guard  "The Sport Of the Arts".  moderndaypirate1.deviantart.co…  Okay then now for your explanation, I have been involved with Color Guard and Marching Band with my daughter and she started in middle school and is now an instructor and English teacher at one of our local HS to say the least its be a long time. Recently the South Florida Winter Guard Association a Non Profit Organization ask me if I would shoot all there shows and offer prints to the kids and the parents. I had all ready been posting Pictures on FB for free in hope of getting more kids evolved in these programs. It has done so much for my daughter! At first I was hesitant to except but a lot of parents work on Saturdays and are not able to attend these events and I'm sure they would love to be able to get shots of there kids in action to place proudly in their home for friends to see. So I accepted there invitation to shoot all there events I remind you they are a non profit so all the travel, food and my time is all on me the offered me a lanyard that that gets me in for free and that's it and it doesn't bother me in the least and as far as selling prints I plan to donate that to there scholarship fund in which they give four scholarships out at championships every year to four graduating seniors. I see you shoot dance, two of my girls take Ballet and one of them also does tap. If you are not a fan of Winter Guard  "The Sport Of the Arts" you could just not visit my page, If you saw one of my photographs in a group let me know which one and when the ask if the can share my photo in there group I will click no instead of yes so you won't have to view my Pics anymore. Thanks for contacting me with your concern and I hope my explanation meets your approval.

I didn't visit your page; I was trying to visit Photography> Photo-journalism > performing Arts.
I understand what you're doing but think it would more polite for your shots to have their own dedicated free blog
so that the people of DA aren't faced with hundreds of very repetitive shots and your compatriots can view them at their leisure. 
It really amounts to visual spam and is not, I think, what DA is for.

I have already set up a website and have started uploading photos there but still need to upload here for print capability. I am working on a Zenfolio account now for prints but it is another expense which at this time I am not able to fund with the 0 budget I was given but will be sponsoring the cost myself soon. Now the good news, taking it consideration that my photos have been added into thousands of Deviants favorite folders and I am constantly getting group request to add my work to there group even after I am done with the website and Zenfolio account I will still be uploading my photos here just not as many and if it is any consolation I will be disabling the print capabilities when my alternate site is ready. You obviously have never seen a winter guard show and have know idea what the sport of the arts is and why it has such a large fan base, well except for you! So I am adding a link to one of my daughters performances with Premonition they are an independent guard not HS  www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wwz4ji…  I am guessing you probably won't watch the video but if your up to viewing a different form of artistic dance you will. I am sad for you that you as an artist yourself would consider any ones work as visual spam but you are one against many who enjoy any form of art here on deviant no matter how much of it they see. It is only visual spam in the AMOUNT of content uploaded.. I made no reference to the quality of the work.
I shot some 200 ballet studio images today and 18 short videos...  this will be edited down to perhaps 5 images and one video compilation. I could imagine getting a few "brick-bats" if I uploaded the lot of 'em so that people couldn't see any thing else for page after page in the relevant DA category.

I went ahead and set up my alternate site and print page. After giving it a lot of thought I figured that once we started adding so many files, others art would be pushed so far behind there art would be overlooked and that would not be fair to them nor to others. I will be keeping it down to a minimum 5 -10 shots per Guard with my uploads and will not upload as often. I check out your gallery and it was quite enjoyable great work. Thanks Joe
