Yes, they do. And it makes it difficult to search for creative and ORIGINAL art when so much freakin' fanart and anime pops up. Now honestly, I dont hate fanart. I even have made fanart myself (just not posted to deviantART). What I have a problem with is people coloring pages straight out of the manga, crappy little doodles, just redrawing someone else's sketch, and finding hundreds of submissions of just different anime characters barely dressed and posed like a porn model - Male and Female - all I see on this site is half naked anime characters. But see, I really wouldn't mind any of this nonsense if the search wasn't based on favorites and pageviews. I think the front page should be reserved for like daily deviations or something. Not garbage that a hundred people favorited after looking at it for a couple seconds.

Sorry to keep ranting :/ I just get really upset that I can't find a good art community to be an active participant of.

Oh no. I know how you feel. 

I mean, I like fanart, (there's this one where the guy is drawing the Disney characters based on college life and stuff. I find that cool!), but not all of it. Some of the fanart I've seen is exactly what you said they were. I just want just want to look at something and go, "Wow! That's awesome!" 

But no, all I ever see is the same thing. Especially the Frozen fanart. Now, I love that movie, (see you frowning there...XD), but the fanart is all the same. UGH. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

I know how hard it is to think of original art and stuff but tracing? Anime porn? REDRAW? Guys...Why? Why not try to perfect on your style when drawing this type of thing? Isn't that what's it all about?

I draw a lot of fanart because I can't think of anything to draw. However, I try to add my own...Style, (let's call it that), to the mix. And you know what? People like it! I know it's not the same as the original thing but I like the way I do things! USE YOUR OWN STYLE PEOPLE! THAT'S WHAT A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WANT TO SEE!

Now, as for the front page thing...I think it's better to leave it as it is. They usually end up being a DD a week later or something so...

You're right, it's completely in the style. I'd like to see more people doing that! 
Oh, and about Frozen, I've never watched it but I heard it was incredible... since you've seen it, what exactly is it about that movie that caused the whole American side of the internet to explode? Was it the story? I'm so curious XD

Frozen is amazing! One of Disney's finest works! It's lightly based off the tale of The Snow Queen, but it takes a lighter side of it. Two sisters, Elsa and Anna, are...split up when their young because of Elsa. Years pass and they're both different people. Elsa gets crowed queen and Anna makes her upset and starts a fight...And that's where the magic happens!
