It was early evening in London. The city was bustling as it always did. Things were quiet. A little too quiet. As far as murders were. Maybe they knew that the would get caught no matter what they tried.
The most recent case had been closeed up earlier that day. There had been a lot of blood inovled. Enough to feed a vampire.
Sherlock was sitting in the lounge just cuaslly thinking. He wasna;t as human as he appeared. He was a half vampire. In the fight with the criminal he had lost a bit of blood himself. Between that and the blood at the scene, he was feeling his thrist.
Gritting his teeth feeling his fangs bite into his gums he sighed getting up. Grabbing his coat and scarf he said to his partner
"I need some air. I will be back"
This was the fifth time this month he had to go out to feed. He covered it up with the pretense of a walk. Making it seem like teh cases were getting to him on some kind of level.
He headed out and went to a dark pup hiding in the darkness and looking around. His eyes were slightly red.
When he was approched by someone who was cealrly drunk and trying to flirt with him, Sherlock brought her close and bit into her neck to feed. Little did he knwo that his freind had follwoed him here.

Watson had indeed followed him, having been worried about him.
He had managed to enter the pub without being noticed by Sherlock, which wasn't that easy to do, and after finding a spot by the bar and getting himself a drink, John proceeded to watch Sherlock and that lady he was now with.

Fangs flashed in the dim light as Sherlock bit down on her neck starting to drink her blood. His nails seemed a little longer. A bit like vampire claws.

John had learned a thing or two about paying attention to detail from Sherlock, and that was why he noticed that so quickly. He finished his drink and slipped out of the pub before Sherlock actually noticed him, and returned to the house.

Sherlock didn;t kill the woman. Not at all. He never did. He pulled away and left her under the impression that she had passed out from a drunke stupor. He went back to the house and came in looking complelty normal again. He set his coat aside and hung up his scarf

"How was your walk?" John asked, glancing up from the newspaper he'd picked up off the table on his way back to the armchair he'd been in when Sherlock had left.

"It was a walk. Nothing happened." Sherlock said as he sat down eyeing Watson. He noticed that the creses in the newspaper were not that old as if it had been picked up in the past five miniutes. He also noticed that Watson had not been in the chair for as long as he was trying to make him belive. "Why the question"" H easked.

"It's polite to ask, Sherlock. That's a thing people do." John said, lowering the newspaper and looking at Sherlock.

Noticing the look on Watson face, Sherlock said "Thers something your not telling me. Did you follow me?"

"I did." John knew there was no point in lying.

"For what reason? What did you see?" Sherlock asaked getting unaturally angry. In fact his naisl were looking a little more like claws.

"I was worried. That was why I followed you. And I saw you with that woman." John wasn't really scared of Sherlock.

Sherlock barred his teeth. They were like fangs "You caught me feedingt"

"Well, now I know for sure that I did. But if you think I'll tell someone, you're wrong."

"I have kept my blood line a secret for this bloody long. I never intneded for ANYONE to find out. I tred carfully. Only feeding when I need to and never killing. Avoiding others for fear of temptiaotn. Keeping my mind occupied with he cases."

Sherlock realxed seeing that Watson was telling the truth. He sat down on the couch as his nail went back to being nails. He was clam again.

John folded up the newspaper and placed it back on the table. He hadn't really been reading it anyway.

Sherlock soon went to play his vioin. Something he was good at doing. I thelped him realx.

John just listened to it, taking a moment to fully process what he just learned about Sherlock.

Sherlock was a half vampire. A side of himselrf he was doing his best to contorl but sometimes it got the better of him. As Watson had just witnessed. .It had taken all of Sherlocks will to not jump Watson.

John did know that there a potential threat to his well being here now, but he wasn't going to leave just because of that. He did enjoy Sherlock's company, even with how annoying he could occasionally be.

Weather or nto Sherlock showed it. H edid enjoy Watsons. He soon set the violin down and just deicded to go to bed.

John stayed up longer and eventually just fell to sleep on the armchair.

When he woke up in the morning, he found himslf put to bed. Sherlock was in the kitchen just getting some tea. He wasn't feeling hungry for human food.

He soon walked into the kitchen. "Good morning."

"Morning" Sherlock said. He had been up early. His fangs had been tiching for some reason.
