You're dogs are beautiful! <3 Aw.. don't be too discouraged about the conformation thing... It's not like agility at all, it all depends on the judges and sometimes who took them out for breakfast, but it gets addictive somehow... I didn't like it much at first, and lost all the time too, but now that my dog has finished I'm showing friends dogs. I've been downright dumped one day then the next day won points. It's just a crazy process. Good luck with all the dog stuff in the future!

Aw no problem, I think I know how you feel. My breeder kept one of her puppies and we went to all the shows together, if the other class "girls" didn't beat me, then she would beat me for winners (she wasn't in my class b/c she entered bred by). It was frustrating at first, but I had my breeder their to encourage me, and as my handling skills improved Diva started being noticed more, then we started some winning (also helped when the breeders dog finished so I didn't have to compete with her for points). Love the picture of Hawk at the show. Was the other merle puppy in your class? The one with the pink shoed handler? Can't see her whole armband... Sorry for all the long comments, need to learn how to keep things shorter...

No the puppy that won in his class isn't in any of those pictures. but it was a fluffy coated huge boned dog. the puppy had so much coat that when he gaited it rolled side to side.

Wow. That seems a bit interesting. Sometimes you wonder about what judges are thinking, and other times you agree with them... My breeder advised me to start keeping a notebook of judges and write what kind of things they picked or that you think they like, and any reactions of them seeming to like or dislike your dog. You learn if you see one that liked your dog again to go back, and it helps you avoid ones that you don't want to show to again... Like the I had that was mean, and scared my dog a bit. *shrugs* Just keep up the awesomeness with your dogs!

This is ~Kiraiko44 , owner of the DAKC, sorry for any bother but im going around advertising for my club one the DA pages of people who seem to love dogs and love drawing them. the DAKC is a new club looking for members and we don't just focus on creating dogs but using them as well. we hold competitions based on real life competitions (such as agility, weight pull, herding trials, obedience, schutzhund, and several others) and have implement a new status point system that i designed. we are looking for members and artists. so please take a look and join if you would like to. sorry for any annoyance.
