I tell ya, we're gonna need a bigger ship if Groot keeps collecting those things!

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Disney's Star Wars so I'm not actually going to worry about the film at all

The best Star Wars available for me right now is 'Rebels'.
Filoni's team have done a great job combining the original stories and characters and adding them back into the canon after Disney's infamous snub to all the writers and artists.
Shame that this year will be the last series but at least we had 4 years

I've watched the first season of Rebels but never really got into it.
I do have to say that the Disney Star wars are good but I don't think they will ever match the Original trilogy but at least they are better than the prequel trilogy!!!!!
I have booked myself in to watch the Last Jedi shortly after midnight on release day lol. I am really looking forward to it!!

The first series from episodes 1-11 was really under Disney's thumb so plot wise they were calling a lot of the shots.
After that, they were so focused on their trilogy, the left Filoni's team to do their work.
There was a fundamental shift in story lines and character development and it really took off.
If you watched all 6 years of the Clone Wars, there are also huge fan moments in series 2 that make you shout with joy.

TFA came out the same year as the series 2 finale 'Twilight Of The Apprentice' and the 44 minute animated finale had more pure Star Wars feeling than the 2 hour movie.

I'll stick with the original trilogy, the animated stuff and the books / comics. 
That works for me.
Each to their own. With 6 more films coming out over the next few years, they'll be milking the cow for all it's worth!

Enjoy the midnight screening, and if any TKs give your trouble, tell them Squad Leader TK-1308 will deal with them later

I see, I think I may have to go back to Rebels again at some point and give it another go.
I did watch clone wars and I did throughly enjoy that!
I have a good break for Christmas so I will try to get into Rebels but there is so much to catch up on! lol

Yeah the original trilogy is and always will be the best.

Hahaha I am sure if I get any trouble from TKs I will just give them a force choke or puch to deal with them hahaha

It will be worth it, some of the stories as the series progresses are really well done.
Plus the recurring character list is brilliant.
Binge watching, it's the only way to go!

Did you also get to see the 13 episode series 6 for the Clone Wars. The only place you could get it on DVD was from a German company but at least the audio is English.
It was available on Netflix at the time but not sure if it is now.
Such a shame Disney shut it down just before the 9 part finale that would've taken us up the the beginning of ROTS.

Too true, although may favourite of the all will always be A New Hope.
