I've been okay, trying to apply to other colleges rn and trying to figure out where I'm going next.

I am still drawing, just finished a really big piece recently. Trying to decide whether I should completely update my deviantart and Facebook with my missing art over the years.

I'm glad to hear that you've been okay! I wish nothing but the best for you, and I always have. I'm sure you'll find your niche and a college will accept you.

I would love to see what you've been drawing, whether it be here or on Facebook. Personally I suggest DA, even if they have some pretty bogus rules.

Yeah, I'm doing better each passing day. The start to 2016 was very rough so I'm finally feeling... Not overwhelmed? I guess? I'm still stressing about applications. Gotta have 20 drawings done by Nov 1st so... Kinda nervous.

I probably should, it just stinks that they haven't gotten too many views on tumblr.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a rough time :c It seems that 2016 had it out for us both in the beginning, hm? But I'm very happy to hear that you're doing well! Even with the rough starts, we'll come out on top. How many drawings do you have so far?

What I try to do is submit my sketches and such to groups here on DA that are devoted to that particular theme. I'm mainly always browsing the OC's that people make, Lol. But I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here, and you probably know all this already. I don't think I've seen your stuff on my Tumblr feed, but then again, I've been a bit absent there.

I mean, beginning of 2016 meaning the first 9 months? Then yeah, sums that up. And, I have a lot, I haven't really counted... there's a lot people say that are good, but then there's the ones that I feel comfortable showing people, I guess.

I'm still trying to think about it because I know that deviantart has weird rules about certain art that can make it rather difficult to sell the same works on other sites. So, that's why I'm on the fence about it. Plus, it'll be annoying to write the deviat comments of each drawing since I'm so backed up. Its probably hard to see them if you're following a lot of blogs and the like since posts are kinda here and there.

Yikes... o.o Again, I'm sorry things were so bad. I really hope...I didn't have anything to do with any of it... But yeah, I'm sure that they aren't just saying that they are good. I've always thought they were all good, and getting better. You can show me any you want/feel comfortable showing me and I will give you an honest opinion.

What kind of rules? I never looked into it too much? But maybe I'm not being as apprehensive (?) as I should be about it. Take whatever steps you think will be best for your art in the long run. I still have trouble writing any good deviation comments, and I don't submit nearly as much. It's probably a combination. I don't go on very often, and I'm not sure if I can see your posts? And if I can, they are indeed scattered.

Well, the start to the year was bad in that I had contracted a really dumb parasite that took until March to get rid of, then in February was the two separate car accidents Sarah and Paul got into 9 days apart, plus the economic strain on our household between my mom taking off from work to help her two brothers and sister through their surgeries and cancer treatment respectively. Then there was the usual summer depression going on, sadly. Lastly, between late January to mid September was my parents hounding me down on a job and between June to still now, I have been having extreme cases of anxiety where I'm just throwing up and having no will to eat, etc... So I haven't felt like I've gotten a real break from anything, really. I'm just tired 100% of the time.

The issue is that they had made a change to their ToS a while back where they give themselves liberty to selling their users art off without consent for the artist. I do recall an issue going on where a user's artwork form dA had been sold off to Hot Topic without their knowledge, soooooo, since I'd like to keep my artwork to my credit and possibly sell off prints of my artwork, I'd rather not have someone try to steal my artwork. However, I might be okay with my Pokemon artwork being uploaded onto here since I don't own it.

You should be able to see my tumblr if you mean by that? But yeah, you'll have a hard time seeing it then since I reblog a bunch of stuff too.

I recall hearing about your Aunt's cancer treatment from Steph or George a while back. Please send my regards :c As for the car accidents, at least everyone is okay in the long run...? But that parasite is definitely news O.O Do you know what it was called? (I mean I'm sure you do, but I'm curious) just do your best with the job hunt, there is one out there waiting. Yeah, this all sounds like the usual inspirational crap, I know. But I'm speaking from the heart. If your anxiety is anything remotely similar to mine (and it may not be) it will be one of the greatest obstacles in your lifetime. Stay with those that care about you and fight hard.

I remember you telling me a while back about the selling of artwork without the owners permisson. That's about the only rule I did remember. I mean I know none of my artwork would ever be that good, but you on the other hand, should be wary. I'm sure there is plenty that you can upload that isn't intellectual property like you say, however.

I'm gonna start going on Tumblr a bit more. I miss it, Lol. I just haven't seen anything from you in a long time o.o I don't follow too many blogs.

Well, I mean, as I'm sure you know the feeling, we're tight on money due to the two court cases the two accidents caused us to go through  in order to pay for the damages. I do not know what the parasite is called, I still need to finish test results but Idk when that will be nor do I know when the next doctors appointment is for it. The anxiety... I just wish my mom would let me see someone for it but she refuses to allow me to. So, my hands are tied rn in treating it (other than distraction through video games and 14 hours of sleep, yippeeeeeee).

Definitely know where you're coming from. I mean, I don't know much about the court aspect, but my school loans and hospital bills are causing me no end of trouble. Did insurance help at all? I'm sorry about that parasite... Is it gone now? I worry... Have you ever tried to see if you're eligible for Medicaid? It helps with appointments and such. (Monetarily) Why does your Mom refuse to allow you to see someone for your anxiety? That's not okay... I mean, unless it's the money issue. Then that makes sense. Distraction was mega important in helping to cure me. Like... 95% of the cure. Video games are good for that as well. (Hatching Vulpix as we speak ^^ Need that HA... ;.; ) I also still do some Rping. Do you think it would help distract you if we got the three of us back together? Sorry if it's a bother to ask, just wondering, Lol.

I'll get right on that. I haven't been on yet, but when I do I'll follow you.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same except for court stuff. Like, with Paul's accident, he had t-boned another car cause he didn't stop at a stop sign and so that family got a ton of cash to the point that they're moving into a three story mansion in Manalapan soon, but they're still trying to get more money from us even though we've given them all that we have. Plus, now our insurance rates are really freaking high too because of him. I do have insurance, its the issue of my mom keeping the insurance card from me and preventing me from seeking out what places I can and cannot go to. And, she just doesn't want to admit anything is wrong with me. She feels like admitting my depression and anxiety would mean that she failed as a mother. :/ And, ah, are you still hatching for another shiny too? I'd probably just wait for alolan Ninetales at this point, so pretty. I'd rather not RP right now, not in the mood for it.

I can only imagine... You guys don't deserve all of this. I hate that there are greedy people like those out in the world. Causes me to lose faith in us as a race sometimes. But if you can just hang on a bit longer, hopefully something good will balance it all out.
