Hi there Yumi, it's been a while and i'm really sorry about that. There has been so much going on here that I have found it really difficult to keep up with everything. I had a few commissions to finish, I've moved house and now live out in the countryside, kids friends have so many birthday parties to attend, bla bla, bla !.

It's been a long time since I have done any artwork for DA, and have only ever had time here and there for a quick flash glance at what is going on, on DA. I hadn't forgotten you Yumi, just didn't realise that so much time has gone by. I've missed you too.

How are things with you now ?, hope you had some good news about your condition, and hope that you're feeling much better about life in general.

Hi there Yumi,

Sorry for not replying sooner, but it is totally hectic here for me. December through to May is always total chaos here as there are so many birthdays to get through, so many people to please. I have been totally rushed off my feet, what with this commission from Lise here in Denmark, a couple of commissions from others too. I've also started something new, i'm really into making diorama's for 1/35 scale war models, so that is taking up a lot of time too. I'll post some pics of finished diorama's soon.

How are you ?, hope everything is going well with you and your family.

Haven't really had enough time to do any drawing, but hopefully soon these commissions will be finished, and then I can get back to some relaxing pencilwork.

I have been alright, going through kidney transplant process uh my family is alright I guess I dont really talk to them like that. But I hear you about shit being hectic. I am going back to school in july graphic design I hope to get better skills and maybe we could do a trade when your not so busy ^^. I will work hard as much as I can and hopefully I get to keep my life longer.

Man,I'd kill to have even half the sculpting ability you do. Alothough like my drawing ability it maybe abandoned in front of someones house in a baby basket...sigh. My lack of art tiers me.

Hey Jofflin, don't be so hard on yourself, you do not lack artistic talent, you have invented characters and given them life, you write whole stories about them, you draw your characters so that people have many ways of visualizing those characters. You have the artform of storytelling which is an artform I have no chance at. I simply don't have the imagination for it.

I like your style, there's something kind of 'Beetlejuicey' about your little Joff's, and that's a good thing. Do yourself a favour, buy a block of Sculpey, and try to make a Jofflin statue, once you get past the initial 'I can't do this ' stage, I think you will surprise yourself !.

I had attempted it once and royally sucked at it (Although at the time I didn't know I was suppose to use wire frames)..however to make some extra cash I am attempting to make some jewelry this weekend and I am designing shirts.
