Ah, you know, working mostly xD Work really takes up most of my day and energy, sadly. But I'm managing! Will be getting a raise in October, so that's at least something. Hoping to get back into drawing and streaming in October as well, so we'll see how that goes

The usual ups and downs, but cruising through.

I haven't been drawing as much as I used to, I've been so uninspired and unmotivated lately.

Been trying to focus on alternate versions of my characters to change things up a bit, but it hasn't had any big effects.

and I have gotten into other franchises, just doesn't have a big enough effect to inspire drawings from me.

With the lack of art being uploaded here on DA, I've probably lost a lot of regular watchers.

it seems DA just isn't as active as it used to be.

Ohhh I totally get ya with the motivation. I always have the inspiration to do something, but most times lack the motivation to actually do it. I've taken a break from everything art related for a month or so now, but I hope to ease back into it in October since I want to get back to streaming. I always find myself burning out if I do one thing all the time, so hopefully I'll have come up with a schedule I can mentally manage. ^^ 

It's been long since I've worried about my watchers on dA, tbh. But I've grown apart from the site for the sake of my mental health. It became very stressful to think about how I hadn't uploaded art for a period of time and how my watchers probably wanted to see something from me. I really can't handle that kind of pressure. So I've chosen to make art in my own time and not bother with doing uploads or growing a "fan-base", if you will. Honestly, the fact that I decided to stream my art process helped me do more drawings. You get instant feedback from people who watch you, they give you some great ideas that helps with the inspiration and just the general interaction with amazing and supportive people really makes you want to come back for more. Have you ever considered streaming maybe?

I have actually, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, I don't know whether to do a digital art stream, or traditional one

and then it's a matter of having the time, motivation to start it, and inspiration to draw.

so until then It'll just be the occasional uploads here and there.

Currently I am doing Inktober, so at least there'll be one art posted per day of this month, possibly more.

it all depends on having proper inspiration for an art piece.

Aaaaaah you remember Elastique?? WOW I'm flattered! She's my absolute bab, I need to bring her back sometime. And yes, I did ship her with Killowat in TT because I figured they could work out to be great. And because Killowat was such an unexplored character, I would've loved to see so much more of him ;w; I also had a YJ re-design for her and possible plans of maybe shipping her with Virgil but sadly that didn't really get anywhere (mostly because I'm a bit anxious to ship my OCs with well-known and pretty popular canon characters) and then I grew less active on that account and eventually moved on from it :'D But I'm super happy to hear you liked her, makes my heart real warm~ <3 And yeees, Golden Dust still needs a lot of work, but I'm excited to bring her back She's my first bby, my OG and I can't bear leaving her behind. So thank you for sharing my excitement, I'm really glad! C:

Absolutely, Elastique was quite a memorable girl! I hope we get to see her come-back soon!! Aahh, I'm the same way with canon characters, I'm just drawn to the background casts because there's a lot more to explore (all the "could have been's") and more freedom to develop stories without disrupting the source material. She really did work well with Killowat, too! I was always excited to see ship art of them around. Oh, but I didn't know she had a YJ version. Awesome! I'm also a big fan of Static and I thought Virgil in YJ was such a great kid! I adored the Runaways but, as a young hero, Virgil especially didn't the credit he deserved—so I was thrilled to see he might have more of a prominent role in S3. Anyway, gotta say, it would've been neat to see you explore Elastique having a possible relationship with him. Golden Dust, too, is a really beautiful character, an intriguing back story so far, and I'm definitely excited for more of her!

It has indeed been forever :'D Well, I'm mostly busy with work and university stuff now. Work has been really tough on me lately and it's taking a toll on me, so I'm barely ever around anywhere. ;w; But yeah, that's why I made the big decision to let go of some small unused accounts that I had and combine them. I've always kinda jumped from one account to another because of my constant long periods of disappearance and wanting to start things off from scratch whenever I decide to come back to dA. This account is my latest one and even here my activity has dropped significantly because, you know, life ;D But I hope to stay here nonetheless. I need to have some stability in my life for once lol.
