Hello! Long time admirer of your art, not sure why I never watched you until now, (I swear I did before!) but was curious if you ever considered or do commissions occasionally? Been looking for a train artist for a little project for a while now. Either way, love your art and hope to see more soon!

Hello! Thank you. My answer is simple - I draw what I want at the moment. For commissions, I have not enough skills, I think. There a lot of talented artists, who draw much better than me. I tried to do a couple of requests, but it took a lot of time since my illness and broken tablet (two in one! yeah). So, I'm not so brave for commissions. If you have something interesting what to draw I can slowly try as a request.

I think you're drawings are beautiful and defiantly worth high value in commission price. I'm a patient commission, especially when artists are slow do to illnesses and the like, I've once waited an entire year for art, yours would defiantly be worth the wait, but I respect your decisions to not take paid work, all though I feel your art is more then worth it and would feel some what paid not compensating you for your time and efforts. However, I well tell you my idea in hopes it will peek your interest.Β
I have this little model train. She was one of the first I received when I started the hobby and she instantly became the star of my railway. Everyone loves her from friends and family in real life and also fans on line. She's a unique rare little train in her scale as only few of them still exist. I've only had her for a little over a year and over that year when she started having problems I sent her off to a friend across the country to look at it. That is when we discovered her age. 51 is defiantly old for a little model train! Anyways I'm rambling, I'm a fan of Thomas and friends and while my model train, who I've named Smokey, was away for several months being rebuilt slowly a little bit of personality began to show as is with most older machines and toys. They all seem to somehow have their own personality and quirks, and I could not help but imagine what she might look like with a Thomas and friends style face as an elderly grandma engine. I'd imagine her being strong like Henry or Hiro but also she'd be wise, friendly and happily help the younger engines. She'd be the grandma that would spoil the neighborhood kids with homemade cookies. And that would be the art I've been looking for someone to draw for me. Artists who draw trains seem to be rare, and the ones who take commissions and request and don't mind drawing a face on them seem to be also be rare. Nevertheless, Thank you for your time and I hope you at least liked my little story.
I do not have a good photo of her currently, but she will be back in my possession on Friday so I'd be able to provide better photos to use as reference then if you are interested, but for now here is a photo I have of her on my friends railway while there during her rebuild.Β twitter.com/pinkcontroller/staβ¦
Thank you for your time.
