I was on the outskirts of a ton of them haha, i only actually was in one of them, they were just so big! I'd much rather go and meet and hang out with a bunch of cool people and actually talk to them.

Yeah, my friend said that there was this gigantic mob at the Friday shoot and you literally could not see the cosplayers unless you were right up front. I know exactly what you mean; posing for pictures is fun and all, but meeting people is really the highlight. And all of the Homestuck cosplayers I met were just downright awesome, which was lovely. <3
