Lots of bad timing of getting sick but thankfully I recovered in time to enjoy the holidays.    One big change in the fanfic is that mine is an AU and one thing is that Dan survived the war only for a good couple of years only to have fallen victim by a Saito clan woman.

Thankfully I recovered in time for the holidays 😊 there is more things I have planned like pairing Mariko Saito with Iruka and making her and Haruki good friends. Also Iruka was Haruki's childhood friend.
Fun fact:Tsunade's children were previously known as Arashi and Asami ♥️

Thanks, someone was helping me and I got this idea that Haruki/Arashi while he couldn't remember nothing of his past life. 

Although when Haruki first came to Konoha, he was chasing after Aki who was trying to chase after Kiba when she saw Akumaru.  Iruka was carrying some paperwork when he saw Haruki.  Although he took one look at Haruki and dropped all the paperwork saying "Arashi?" in a stunned voice.

Later on, while Haruki couldn't remember he later was able to recall one memory and later said to Iruka "I gave you that scar!"

Haruki/Arashi were childhood friends (Haruki was 3-4 years younger) although Iruka played with him a lot as children since Haruki was very lonely kid and really saw Iruka as his best friend.

Arashi/Haruki and Asami/Ruka was declared dead 8 months before the Kyuubi attack.  

Although Iruka had an incident where he was left for dead.  But Haruki came across him and healed him.  Iruka thought he was hallucinating his dead friend, although was confused to seeing his childhood friend as an adult.

Plus I thought it would make it more interesting that Haruki ended up setting up his teammate Mariko with Iruka.

I am glad you think so.  I liked the idea of Haruki acting as matchmaker for his old friend.   

Plus it would be funny that some of Haruki's childhood bullies insult Haruki again when they find out he is alive.  Especially when they find out he has no intention to leaving Suna.  

Funny thing is that those bullies don't realize that Mariko is Haruki's old teammate.  Those bullies were stunned when Mariko would violently turn them down only to in the end be chasing after Iruka.  Especially when she finds out he teaches children in the Academy. 

(Saito clan woman find a man more attractive when they are great with kids. Although the fact Iruka protected Naruto in the past gained him bonus points )

I have seen some fanfics in the past were people underestimate Iruka because he is a Chunin teaching children.  I thought it would be a great twist that someone is chasing after him. 
Imagine him being torn from being flattered and flustered because Mariko was interested in.  I saw one fanfic where one OC was given some of Iruka's baking and shared some with her friend Yūgao Uzuki.  I found it funny that in Yūgao's was thinking that he she didn't have a great relationship with Hayate, she would have knocked out her competition to chase after Iruka herself.  XD
