Thank you so very much for all of your friendly comments and your lovely words!! They made my day and mean so much to me, in these times in particular, when just very few people type comments here on dA.
I feel very honoured that you liked my works! And yes, I'll work on improving "my" magic, too!

After reading all of your kind comments - more than great, what could you think else??
Apart from that, life's a bit stressy, still, that's also why my answer comes so very late. University, work, leisure stress...
However, what about you at the moment?
What are you doing all the time?
I hope you could also enjoy the coming spring?Β
In any case, it is truly a wonderful joy that you're back and active here again!!

I am feeling quite good actually, thank you for asking!
The only issue is a rather strong strain of gastroenteritis, but that's bound to pass soon.

Oh, this doesn't sound really comfortable...
Hope you feel much better soon!! Β
(Or do it already...) ; )
It always isn't nice to be bound to stay at home against one's will...

the symptoms sort of weakened up a bit for five days and came back just yesterday... bad luck i guess, but thankfully, it's not so bad as to inhibit me from going outside.
and i'd like to thank you for your interest!
should itake a photo for you next time i get out? what should it be?

Wow, sorry for the late answer!
I had big stress with my studies! ; /
At least, I hope you feel much better now?
Somewhen every illness should be over, right?
A photo... that sounds really nice! What a beautiful idea.
What do you think, maybe from you favourite place outside around your living space?
Or, if this is too personal, maybe your second favourite? ; )
Thank you very much!! I'm so curious!

Ah, studies and stress usually go hand in hand...
My examination period starts in about a month, so I've got lots of time until the process begins.
I have fully recovered now, thank you very much for asking! And I'm bound to take the photograph of a very favourite place nearby tomorrow. Hopefully a lens I've been waiting for might have arrived, so that I can do some interesting work with it.

So, I'm very curious about the picture!
Glad you feel better by now!!
What about your exams?
I hope your efforts worked out?
For me, eventually, a time less shaped by stress is arriving soon... which I'm awaiting eagerly.

Ah, the exams have not started yet... "everything is excellently planned in Greece", haven't you heard? Β But strangely enough, this is the first time in my life when I really feel no stress at all. I guess I love the subject so much that it's become natural for me to write about it.
As for the photograph, the film is currently being developed. Hopefully I won't have made any of my usual bloopers this time, as I really wanted you to see it. Nothing special, really, I might say I even feel embarrassed to show it...
And I'd like to wish you my very best in the upcoming stress-free period! It's not easy, I'm aware, but we can only work on it... it'll eventually work on us.

Laylana In reply to WilliamDallwitz [2014-03-26 18:51:22 +0000 UTC]
It sounds very good that you feel so peaceful and self-confident concerning your coming exams! I think that should be a great foundation to produce something substantially!
What will the subject be?
Concerning the unstable situation in Greece - yeah, of course, I've heard about it, but I really never thought about it through to the end - or, at least, not to -this- end. It's quite stark and yes, not that unlikely, that the situation at universities is similar to that in public administration, politics etc. ...
I really wish you that your circumstances will become more reliable soon!!
For the picture... I don't know it yet (of course), but don't worry about it! I'm curious, but I don't expect something concrete, so I'm sure I'll take it as it comes - as a kind of friendly gift (at least the idea behind is something like this) and therefore everything can (at least) just be interesting as I will learn more about you.
In any case, thank you much for your nice wishes! Yes, I'm sure I'll make the best out of it.

Actually, the entire recent circle ("p160" to "p167c") was made thinking of my promise to you. I tried an old Helios MC 28mm f/2.8 with my father's equally old soviet Zenit (I don't know why, but there's something about this model that makes me love it, it has a very smooth operation), apparently the lens worked like a chum, even better than I had thought, in fact. I took out the film under darkroom lighting conditions and immediately put it in a black plastic canister. I sealed the top with incandescent duct tape, then took out the entire can and exposed it to bright sunlight for fifteen seconds. The results still leave me surprised!
There's not much I can say about them, actually; I'd like to leave them speak on their own.
As for the state in lovely Griechenland... there's not much I can say about this, either. It's not a matter of recent years; from what I hear, it's been like this ever since the '80s, with increasingly populistic governments, to say the least. It's commonplace here, actually, that one does not expect to be serviced properly - or in time!
Actually, I will add this: I believe it's about the social constructs of Greece not having followed the various industrial developments of northern Europe... you can see it in some other southern countries, like Italy or Spain, perhaps because of the same reason: as the basis was agriculture, there was no need for punctuality, no sense of a "schedule" or "timetable"; the skies and winds were those which defined when work started and ended. I think we Greeks (well, so far as I can speak for us... which means, only in my opinion) are somewhat lost between these antiquated notions and our true inferiority complex at industrial might, at financial development, We really have no idea what we want...

An old fashioned rhyme for you on your special day
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child fears no foe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
And Sundayβs child is bonny and wise in every way.
