btw how do you draw hands ?

uhh...b-lack magic..... hahaha ok no , is a little bit difficult to explain ... a lot of practice. i use photo reference and self-movement observation. for the shapes: i use a pentagon for the palm and the back of the hand, and 3 cylinders for each finguer, this way is easy to observe the size and space between the finger and the phalanx flexion.
I recommend to read anatomy books and different cartoon styles, theres a lot of pdf on neoverso.com where you can find coloring guides, anatomy, movement genders,etc..., as basis i like "How to draw Blitz cartoon" by Bruce Blitz and "How to draw new retro-style characters" by Christopher Hart, my students said that they were very helpful and easy to fallow because its starts with simple shapes, then you can improvise a little more the movements. I also recommend to read "Action cartooning" by Ben Cadwell to improve the shape and details.
It's important to experiment and don't be affraid of making mistakes, learn from them, you'll find fun and probably they'll be happy and useful mistakes, (belive me) think of what kind of details you need, like: if you dont want to draw the nails and the hand lines (don't draw them) or if you want to do realistic hands (go ahead do it) , that would depend off your style.
