:S drat. i always despised succinct introductions...okay. i'm young, i'm small, i'm loud. my hair challenges the boundaries of brown and black, but likes to cultivate a few red hairs (even a BLONDE one once!) out of spite. my eyes are small in the morning and wide at night. kudos to those who can find my pupils. let's see, er... i'm hispanic? born in peru? (i feel like i say that a lot, but i do find it crucial to my identity..)
i like it when people admire me for a so-called "steadfast optimism" and "constant smile", but sometimes i wish i could be seen as more than that... maybe someone capable of deeper thoughts and *gasp* moments of doubt? that's probably WHY i'm here :P
i'm a girl raised in... very humble surroundings, and fished out by an academic scholarship into a school for... monetarily endowed kids. it's a beautiful bubble, and i'm not sure how i feel about prolonging such innocence.
i like to eat pie alone but eat cake with friends. i constantly lose the game! i love my pets; my dog odie, my gerbil juju, my fish (too many to name), my venus flytrap freddie hermy, and my brother daniel. i'm as big a harry potter fangirl as they come... i'm a proud CTY forevermore after 8 summers of 3-week-long nerdgasms. i'm a theatre kid ;P i'm the kind of person who can listen to jesse mccartney, luciano pavarotti, queen, ludwig van beethoven, classic disney songs, and lil' jon on the same playlist *grins* i'm a trekkie. i follow the lakers. i'm good with kids because i AM a kid. i hate it when i find out i'm feeling sorry for myself, and promptly force myself to count my blessings. i NEED more BOOKSHELVES, not a DRESSER, mami! my trusty nightstand is a cardboard box, and damned be he who knocks it!
i refuse to open my window for days in order to not destroy the spiderweb and its egg sac. my best friend was a praying mantis for half a year. i play with stuffed animals. i still get a lump in my throat when mufasa dies. i want people to read my work someday and think, "wow. what a remarkable girl." i want my legacy, but not necessarily my name, to live on for centuries. i know i have a long way to go before i reach that level of immortality, and i want to start now. i want you to comment on my things.
