Good grief, I sure do win the "longest pause between replies" award, eh?

Anyway, I've been up, down, and back up again, over and over again. This last half a year has really put me through the wood-chipper. But right now, I'm just focusing on getting myself back together ... finding myself again, I guess. Didn't even realize it, but I'd lost sight of who I am and what makes me, well, me, in my crazed attempts to hang onto the affection of another person. Well, that's not an issue now, so it's time for Daniel to figure out again just what Daniel's about . It's daunting, especially since on top of that I'm finishing my last semester in college, starting a job in the summer ... Ahhh! Oh well. I'm trying to look forward to it in spite of itself.

I've been wonderful. I went through a drug phase, ended an unhealthy relationship, and discovered that I am polyamorous, and explored my pansexual orientation. Interesting while its been.

You're alive! And yes, you definitely win, by like, a lot.

I'm doing alright. Life's gotten mad busy lately -- just got out of a relationship due to that busy-ness among other things -- and making some serious progress personally and professionally.

for all the above -- I'm glad you ended an unhealthy relationship, and REALLY glad you're discovering and exploring your sexuality. Knowing who are you, and examining your options, is a huge step forward in getting *into* healthy relationships . Awesome!

So, does this mean you're also going to be getting back into/exploring yourself artistically? Even if not, I hope you won't be a stranger here, and feel free to drop me a line any time .

I think there is a busyness associated with these months. I've been outrageously busy as well.

Its good that you're making personal progress and professional. I think personal progress is far more valuable. Its what life is all about.

I agree wholeheartedly about knowing who you are and how essential that is to starting healthy relationships.

Yeah I'm trying to get back into my artistic groove. Balancing school and work makes this impossible. I'm thinking I'm going to sacrifice my social life in the name of art.... so here i go... plunging ever further into the depths of my mind until Thanksgiving.

I've been considering that view a lot more lately -- personal progress over professional -- it doesn't match what has been my typical approach to life, but it is quite a lot more fulfilling, indeed!

I hope when you come up for air from the initial plunge, you are able to find a working balance between the tensions of social ties and artistic urges!
