I'd thank you for the llama, but after reading your journal, I'm really impressed with your willpower! Good luck in the U.S.! Keep drawing!Β

Thank you! I actually haven't been drawing as much since I have been job hunting and my laptop was slowly dying. However I have been building a brand new pc for 3D modeling (and maybe 3D printing in the future).

Thank you for your recent support. But I do have to say, you have quite a story to tell. May I ask if you got a job somewhere in the game industry or similar now?

I should update my journal entry.
I did get a job recently to military simulation and will start one Monday after the Feast of Sacrifice this week.
Though I am nervous and worried I am gonna screw up. >_<;

Well, I thought it was an interesting read. Everything you get through the media is somewhat filtered after all - no idea if any of it is the truth or not. It's so hard to tell these days. Small reports like that simply add much more to the picture and give a better understand of the situation. So thank you.
Military simulation? I'm afraid I don't really know what that exactly is. And why would you be nervous? When you are new you are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them, right.

Well if you use sites that usually (not always) stay neutral they tend to give decent news. Just be warned that they tend to have a horrible science and health sections. BBC is one of them if you are ever interested.
Yeah, but think of it this way. You have been unemployed for over 9 months, and have been going through job interviews left and right. You are in a tight budget for rent and food. You live in a country that is in a middle of a depression (I see it as a depression esp when it is 3tl to $1). Meanwhile you have a family that kind of thinks you are lazy because you are not fully independent by age 18 and .... well, remind you every time you talk to them.
So when you finally get the opportunity, there is a pressure that has built up for months/years. You don't know how the environment is going to be nor will you know if they will extend your contract (right now it is currently a 3 month job and if I do a good job, it will be extended for a year.).
Right now I am fine. I mean I am slowly learning the ropes. Similar to my previous job I still have to commute over 2 hrs a day, but it is definitely much less taxing. I don't need to bring my laptop, I only need to exchange rides once or twice compared 3+, and on my way home I can actually find a bus ride where I can sit 90% of the commute. The sitting to me is so amazing since my previous one way 90 min commute I would be lucky and grateful if I could sit 20 min in a train w/ hundreds of other people trying to get to work.
As of right now, my goal is to get use to my schedule during and after work, which will take another couple weeks, but you know, I am okay with that.
