I started being amazed by photography a long time ago, but I've just recently found the time to practice this exquisite form of art. The possibilities are endless end intriguing, and I love the process of experimenting and learning, discovering day by day new secrets and recipes.

Some of my work has been exposed in national and international galleries, and I've occasionally worked with musicians and models for photoshoots and fashion shows.

Oh cmon, there's no such a thing as 'natural talents', it's all about training your mind, your eye and your hand... And your mouse, back home, with postproduction :) (Smile)
We all start from different levels, due to our different backgrounds, but I'm pretty sure anyone can get anywhere.

Hmm... You seem like a skeptical sort of person~ Believe in the impossible!
But you words 'We all start at diffrent levels' just makes my point more valid! The higher up your 'level' is when you start, the more 'natural talent'!
Of course anyone can get anywhere- We all just have to beleive in ourselves. Like in the movie The Matrix- If you believe, you are.

I recognised that you use a nikon D5000. I'm thinking about buying this model, too..
Could you share your experiences? Are you satisfied with it? What are the disadvanteges of it?

I'm glad you asked. If you want my advice, you should seriously consider spending a little more money in a D90 or a D7000, and I'll tell you why.
In the D5000 the electronics is great, the sensor is very good, but it has one huge disadvantage: it lacks an internal AF motor.
And this means, if you want to use AF you'll have to buy lenses with an AF motor themsleves, and they are MUCH more expensive.
Take a look for yourself: D5000 can autofocus only with AF-S lenses, meaning AF, AF-D, AI lenses can't do it. Look at the price differences between these kind of lenses, and draw your conclusions. And remember that lenses are as important as the camera body itself, so just know you WILL be buying several of them :) (Smile)

I will certainly consider this aspect. I didn't know that internal AF motor- lenses are much more expensive. It does matter unfortunatelly.
