# About me
I draw because I get bored, it can't be put any simpler than that. In school, I had no interest in learning science or social studies. I often escaped to a fantasy world that I just had to draw out on paper. The teachers disdained my lack of motivation for learning and I went on to middle school trying to make up for my mistakes. That is, until I met a girl named Jessica. I didn't actual meet her face to face, but through a girl who wanted me to draw yoshi (a dino character from the Mario games) for her. She had seen me doodle in our homeroom class together (I had been trying not to draw in actual class). She then went to another artist (Jessica) and asked for the same, showing her what I had drawn. So in retaliation to this, she drew a better picture. I really had no idea how to draw yoshi that well, but I was up to the challenge of drawing something better. This went on for about a week (maybe), and finally one day, we met. We had a 3D art class together. We became friends really fast and soon even became best friends. That girl is now my 23 year old sister, Jessica Urmanec (veemon-tamer), who is a magnificent artist and still not afraid of a challenge.Anywho, I went on to a high school that taught commercial arts and continued on my path of being an artist. When I graduated, I realize that in order to accomplish my dream; I would have to go to Community college and deal with the same people I had to deal with in High School. I would talk with my friends about, and realized that I really didn't want that. I was very frightened of being stuck in the same place. So I join the Army; yes, the Army. I became a 25N, which is a joint nodal systems operator. A node is like a center for phones and internet (to put it in simple terms). Um, I've been in for five years, so there's that. I still draw, and no matter where I go, people are always impressed by it. I think that's what I like most about the Army, very few actual artist. When I meet an artist who is enlisted, it's like finding a member of a secret club that no one knows about.
I've been married, couldn't handle it so I got divorced. Now I'm dating a wonderful man, who I really get along with. I mean, it's like super crazy how we are with each other. We hit it off from the first time we met. With the marriage, came a house, a truck, and an adorable little beagle mix. It's really difficult to keep up with all three, especially when an ocean and miles of land separates them from me.
Currently, my military life takes up most f my day. Being in a place that is technically still at war takes a lot of work. We train as we fight, and we do a ton of training. Although, I do still draw and I really hope to finish my next big project soon.

Really awesome gallery. I love the way you put so much of your own style into the characters that you make or reproduce that sets them apart from a style you'd more easily see replicated.
