I'm a Danish cosplayer and prop maker. :)I started cosplaying in end-November 2011, and I rarely cosplay characters other than those who have a personality which is like my own.

I seek perfection in my own work, and quite often if I find that some of my work is bad, and that I have the time to redo it, I will. This also results in me quite often only being somewhat satisfied with my own cosplays :b

HELLO! I just came across your Tobi/Obito and I like your mask tutorial or mini explanation! I have already made my mask to Tobi (The orange swirl one with the ridges like the 9 tail) and made it out of one layer of thin cardboard, toilet paper, and a crap load of paint medium...it was a pain...any ideas for a faster version? Hey did you do the make up scar design for your character?

You made it out of toilet paper? Sounds very interesting, to say the least.
- Overall I'd say that a mixture of flour and water (for a cheap mix), or some wallpaper paste mixed with water (better adhesive, I guess?), mixed with a lot of newspaper would be the fastest, together with a balloon, in order to get the right shape, would be the fastest I can think of.
When you've reached those 4-5 layers, you can pop the balloon, and using some tape to keep the shape, you can apply layers and eventually use a heat gun to be able to apply several layers in a very short period of time.
Other than that, I have no idea for a faster version.
I've done a little bit of the scarred version, but it was my first time with fake skin, and also with makeup (although a friend applied that for me) - the fake skin I cut up and put "together" was terrible though, so only some bad pictures ^-^

yeap the mask too like two dang weeks to make in between not working on it for days/procrastinating/and waiting for it to dry plus having to make adjustments...but it was fun....thanks for the help!
