Relaxing, uneventful, and short in that order. I'm taking a winter intercession course, so vacation was cut short so I could back home and go to class. I wanna try graduate soon, I feel like I've been in school for so long spending too much money. How about you dearie?

MakaiAsh In reply to Missvirginia [2014-01-05 04:42:57 +0000 UTC]
Pfft, you're still young. But I do understand the idea of wanting to graduate and get out of the school life. I hope it all goes well for you? As for me, I'll be graduating in the Spring and then heading back home to go to pastry school. Talk about forever in school. ;__;

I won't be young for long, my birthday's coming up--ripe old age of 22 here I come! I don't mind school, I think it's great to be a life-long learner so to speak, but it's just the attitudes of the other students that get me down sometimes. It seems that a lot of people don't wanna be there, versus noticing how great an opportunity it is to have all these resources and in some cases really great professors that know what they're talking about. I just feel lonely I guess, it makes school less fun.

Yoooo, I'm 22 so go calling yourself old. Geezus. Haha. Yeh, if it is your surroundings, I don't blame you for wanting to get out of there. I personally don't mind staying in school until...I got a job and realize I really enjoy just chillin' with coworkers and just relaxing with them. After awhile, I realize I just wanna graduate and find a good job with chill co-buddies to just chillax with.Ā
But hey, we're still young. Believe me. Once we hit our mid 20's...aw man. That's when we start feeling the age. Take the time to enjoy life and enjoy school regardless of the shitty environment.Ā

Hehehe, I didn't realize we were the same age--well going to be the same age in 3 days. And I understand what you mean. I got an internship at an ad agency this past summer and it was nice to be around folk who enjoyed what they did even though they were in a hurry all the time.
Dude, I'm already feeling old, for some reason my hips and back get all stiff. I think it's because Ā I did way to much sitting during my drawing marathon in summer and never really recovered, plus school. If you don't stay in your seat in the library it's gone. I try to stretch more and that helps, but feel all crickety in the morning--like a transformer--clickety-crack-crack when I wake up.
Thankfully I have been able to have some really great instructors, the fact they really appear to like what they do really energizes me. I will make the best of it.

MakaiAsh In reply to Missvirginia [2014-01-05 07:01:50 +0000 UTC]
Yep, we are about the same age. I think that's normal to feel stiff. Esp when we sit there for elongated periods of time. It's just your body telling you ya needa get up and strength, get a massage, go to a chiropractor...idk. LUlz. I'm always moving since I work in the kitchen so I'm always aching. Pretty much stand for the whole day. It's all normal.Ā
Glad you've been able to enjoy school to an extent. Instructors always make it so worth while. Def want to be getting your money's worth.

Ahh, yeah, my sister wanted to pursue culinary arts, but she has flat feet (arch supports don't help/are uncomfortable) and one leg is longer than the other so she has back problems if she stands for long periods of time. Once she went through a course for a few weeks all that standing took it's toll--she gave up that avenue. She went for network security instead.

Sorry for not responding till now. Bah.
Summer is plugged up by this new pastry job. Hah. I work in the kitchen as one of their bakers.
Semester went alright. Not as good as the past but glad it's over.
How about you? Any plans for your summer?

That sounds like busy fun. Are you enjoying baking up goodies?
I'm doing well, I had originally planned to buckle down and enter a lot of art contests with cash prizes, but now I'll be interning at an ad agency in town in July. My mom happened to know somebody who knows somebody. I'm still making an artwork for a local art competition as well, that has around $200 as the top prize. I doubt I'll win because more than likely there will be some fabulous people in my division. At least I will get a participate certificate And I'm working on commissions now as well.
I like your new icon by the way. Super cute.

I'll try to make a comeback once school lets up. It's been so busy. I hope you've been staying healthy yourself + school is treating you well. <3

Your new ID! I saw it when I was beside my sister and said, "AAAGGH!" "You're looking at Ash, aren't you?" She said. "He's the only one that's not a celebrity you act like that about." I love your hat too. I should have something furry like that to go with the fur coat I inherited.

Lmao! You're too cute. I would squeeze you.
But pfft, my face is not enough to make you go AAGHHH!! over. XD
Tys, I just bought it today for pretty cheap. Hehe.
I always fear wearing furry stuff 'cause people get all angsty about animal cruelty even though it's synthetic. ><
š: 0 ā©: 1
Missvirginia In reply to MakaiAsh [2012-11-25 04:16:37 +0000 UTC]
Hehehe, I think it is.
Was it at a thrift store, or did you catch one of those sales?
I think all the fur items I have are either synthetic or wool, in which case since sheep can be sheered I wouldn't venture to think they're not treated badly since you don't have to kill them to get the fur. I know folks will think I'm cold for not really caring, but I like humans better.

Naw, was at Forever21. They opened one that had some unisex clothes + a men's section so I checked it out. They have some pretty cheap things. Just gotta look. Haha.
Ooo, wool. That sounds so comfy. I agree, humans are definitely better for warmth. Mmmm. Hehe. My specialty, hugging.

I don't have enough money to be that. =3= (well, I rarely pay by my self anywy. XD)

I always save up my money for food. Hehe.

Haha, I do go shopping a lot, but my parents pay for me. XD I have no money. OTL

Ah. That sucks. ;< I hate shopping w/ my parents so I never do.
Plus, they rather me out of their sight doing my own thing.
Hopefully one day you can venture out on your own w/ your own money. XD

vnah In reply to MakaiAsh [2012-11-25 17:23:32 +0000 UTC]
Well, I go shopping with my sister, but they give me the money. OwO
Even though I'll actually get money for myself when I turn 18, I'll probably still be too stupid to know how to use them with all the transferring and such. DX <- lacks common knowledge.

I dunno. I seriously have a severe problem with common knowledge. XD My dad just told me that I have to learn how to use a bank next year, LOL. OTL (I live under a rock. I don't even know how you send and receive things through the post office. DX)

MakaiAsh In reply to vnah [2012-11-26 21:37:03 +0000 UTC]
Oh dear gawd!! Wait, you don't know how to receive/send things from the post?
I think there is a first time for everything. You just gotta get up and try.
Many things I did not know how to do, but I had to suck it up and just do it.
Over time, I learned. Plenty of mistakes along the way, but it's what helps us learn. ;]

I have horrible timing or something.
You always come on MSN when I don't have anything interesting to say, and then when I do.. I never see you on Lol. ;3;!!
I was just gonna ask if you listened to Ft Island's Treasure Box album. x3 Or at least "I wish"
I bought the album, was worth it. ;u; I like 9 1/2 of the 10 songs~

I actually only go on when I check my email. It auto signs me on. But yeh, I pretty much don't go on anymore on the messenger. Sorry. But if you got anything to say, can find me here. XD I've been busy lately so I haven't been able to listen to much music. Haha. I'll check it out.
If you didn't manage so many groups, I'd ask you to be a contributor for my FT Island group...update our journals whenever they have new songs/albums out etc. ;< Just been too busy to manage the group so I need help. -.-
