Sure, no problem
Do You mind if a apathetic student will bother You with a question or two?

Any question that can be answered by the Japanese high school student is OK.

How directly... Get it.
For easy beginning: Is it really bad manners to sneeze and cough in Japan?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
tmtm-dot In reply to Mantiko [2016-10-17 20:35:48 +0000 UTC]
If you do it without holding a hand, handkerchief, or something over your mouth, it would be regarded as bad manners.
But to do it itself is not bad manners except extreme one.

I see, so there should be no need in going to exile when allergy starts... Thank gods.
Anyway, where did You get such good language skills?
Or is it just a brilliant translator?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
tmtm-dot In reply to Mantiko [2016-10-19 11:51:31 +0000 UTC]
That's very kind of you to say so. It's my skills, though I use my dictionary.
I study English at my school.
My school is combined elementary, junior high and high school putting a great deal of effort into English education.
So we start to study English when we are elementary school student.
However at high school, English for an entrance examination is regarded more important than oral communications, so my pronunciation is terrible.

Mantiko In reply to tmtm-dot [2016-10-19 14:20:14 +0000 UTC]
So that's why You use it so easily and clearly. You've got a nice school.
Anyway, when You speak or write in English, do You translate your thoughts in that language? Or do You think on English?
As for me, your text looks like a direct change of thinking language. Am I wrong?
And dont worry about your pronunciation. You will greatly improve it once You find someone for regular practice!

tmtm-dot In reply to Mantiko [2016-10-21 20:49:48 +0000 UTC]
Uh, I haven' t thought about it consciously.
But I think when I have to take a English test, I tend to think in Japanese because sentences for translation is too long.
Though, in other cases, I may think in English and sometimes look up in a dictionary whether the use of words is correct or not.

Mind I ask You question or two?

Mantiko In reply to Rogulja [2016-06-01 13:54:52 +0000 UTC]
Me and my friends (a group of 4 students) are planning to visit Serbia in this August. May You give some advices? For example:
Should we go to Novi-Pazar and how local muslims may act? How will Serbian react to Russians? and so on.
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Rogulja In reply to Mantiko [2016-06-01 20:33:46 +0000 UTC]
First I will strongly recommend not to go to Novi Pazar, because people there do not love anybody who is not Muslim ( And city is ugly). And in other part of Serbia you will not have problem. In August in Serbia we have many festivals, but I will recommend Gucaย www.gucafestival.rs/ lots of alcohol and BBQ. Beer festย www.belgradebeerfest.com/en which is in Belgrade. Jazz fest in city Niลกย www.nisville.com/index.php/en/ . If you like electro musicย lovefest.rs/ . If you come to Novi Sad city where I live, I will be glad to show you a city.ย
Hope this will help, and if you have any question feel free to ask.

Surely, no problem!
Oh, may I ask You a favor?
It's weird, but I'd like to ask You about some recommendations in "Nippon no" literature. Other Japanese artists here adviced me such good authors as Ryunosuke or Soseki earlier.
So... May You give me some advice?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Kayori-Mizushina In reply to Mantiko [2016-05-07 17:27:15 +0000 UTC]
Oh, Are you interested in Nippon?ย I'm so glad!!
My favorite work of Soseki is "Ten nights of Dreams(ๅคขๅๅค)".
It made up of 10 short stories so easy to read.
"Rashomon" written by Ryunosuke was become a movie many years ago.
It's a short story of Samurai and dilapidated city.
And I will recommend to you Kenji Miyazawa๏ผๅฎฎๆฒข่ณขๆฒป๏ผ.
He is known by "The Milky Way Railroad(้ๆฒณ้้ใฎๅค)" in Japan.
It's fantastic and beautiful story.
I never forget that friendships of two boys and really sadness.
I hope that you enjoy "Nippon no" literature!

Mantiko In reply to Kayori-Mizushina [2016-05-07 19:25:26 +0000 UTC]
Ohow, Im very impressed to see such a clear and helpful advice. You are a very sociable person, dont you? Or is it just theme you like much? Heheh, nevermind.
Well, thank you so much. The main problem is that there is a very small number of books in russian translation while my japanese is still exist only in my dreams xD.ย
Sorry for that bullsh*t, but still can you suggest something like Osamu Dazai's "no longer human"? (If you read it) This book is my best one, for last few years
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Kayori-Mizushina In reply to Mantiko [2016-05-10 01:20:54 +0000 UTC]
Sorry my reply is late
I am glad if that was helpful to you!
I think I am not so sociable, but I like to write novels and read books.
Oh,that's unfortunate. Japanese books are almost interesting but that ย is not well known.
If I could translate into Russian ,It's so wonderful... But my Russian is also present only in my dream
Umm...That's difficult question."no longer human" is unparalleled and special literature. If I choose dare, Soseki's "Kokoro" is close by Dazai.
If you sympathize with oppressed Youzou, please try reading "Haruki Murakami".
He is a modern writer in Japan and famous for "Norweigian Wood".
His style is often romance,ย but his writing skills are certainly.

And again-so big and full answer so I losing any word and stay like a fish with mouth full of water. Thank You so much, it makes a Gaijin very happy when he read it!
Saying that You are not sociable? Then you must really like literature if You helping so seriously, maybe You like it even more than you think? XD
There is a big number of authors you gave me after all, some of them I have read already, but there is still quite a lot to read. Thank you so much once more.
To finish-now I want to spend a couple of hours with You in some cafe and simply discuss about books. Is there a way we have some conversation? And then maybe... someday... xD
