Favorite gaming platform: Ipad i spose, like i said, with the kid.
Tools of the Trade: My Hands, woodworking, started engraving, pastels, oils and watercolors, alcohol inks (really cool) and just got an ipad air and a stylus, so we'll see how digital art goes, any tips or pointers about diff apps, pls, let me know.
# About me
I had as many art classes as allowed per semester in school as far back as i can remember, even contemplated going to college for it and at the last minute, i decided i didn't want to be "starving", so i opted for architecture and after 2 semesters of that decided i made a bad decision as architecture is all about numbers and only rendering was my forte. i had my hands on EVERY form of medium i could get my hands on EXCEPT digital art and photography, so i am new to those, but quickly learning. slowly, life goes on, and art drifted away and my family drifted in, now, i am finding i have a bit of time on my hands at the end of the day and art, in any form, is like my meditation, decompressing time, where i can leave everything behind me, and let my mind wander in to that far off woods where there's a dark root cellar with nothing more than a light bulb hanging from the ceiling, a table and chair with a piece of paper and a pencil and....my imagination, where i can forget, just for a while, everything, and let things happen.# Comments

you are absolutely welcome, I'm now a huge fan!!! may i ask what programs you use, or not to spoil it, perhaps one? they are SO clear, that one i sear looked better that robert patrick in terminator 2 it was so liquid metal-like! (not that it matters, I'm 43)

I pretty much exclusively use Fractal Explorer, which I think I am correct in calling it 'abandonedware'. The developer just upped and walked away from it one day, but I and a few others here still use it, and keep it alive.

And that you should!!! is it avail for purchase or download by chance? I'm 43 yrs old here and the ONLY art i HAVEN'T had my hands on in all these years is 1) Photography and the science that therein is. and my more favorite between the two Digital Art. So I'm always on the look out for new toys or software. But thanks at least for responding.

and so, with four trips to BestBuys geek shop and one to their huge warehouse/repair center. i have my baby back. i just hope this time its totally fixed. new motherboard, new hard drive. upped the ram rom 6 to 12gb. so, we shall see. hopefully get some new stuff up.

i would love to chat sometime, but i would think the time diff will make that a bit tough. you may or may not laugh at this. but i bought what you young kids call a stylus. or, how would it be plural, styeli. anyway. im beginning to try and get used to the on my ipad air, another thing i got and just really never used. i was an art major in high school, almost went to college for it, but the starving part made me go into archetecture which is WAY more rules and mathematics and equations. its art, well thought out art. i didnt care for it.
so, without writing you a book here (too late) if you are aware of any apps that are good to get and stay away from, i try them and like bits and pieces of each one but not not one as a whole. suggestions? there was one that looked good and was like $10. dirty dirty, i was i believe called "Procreate"
or is that the completely wrong route to take. any advice from a deviant "seasoned" artist would be greatly appreciated.Β
