My teachers give so much homework that I go through notebooks like nobody's business, lol. Did you draw William on there or is that a cut out?

God, that must really suck when no one likes/knows ANY of the wonderful bands you do. In my school eveyone's all "You haven't heard of Jars Of Clay?!" (It's apparently some famous Christian band, or whatever) but they don't even know who the BEATLES are. It's sad, really.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Javicorpsebride In reply to Maroon-Princess47 [2010-04-19 02:28:13 +0000 UTC]

oh :c
yes , I drew William it took me like 2 hourrs , I think. And I remembered why I hate so much drawing wings.

And yes , it sucks. Well , at least my classmates like the good music , like The Beatles and other bands that obviously made an impact on the world. But i hate how they say the bands I like suck just because they are like...'new' , I mean they've been doing music for 8 years or something like that. And the worst part is they don't even know them , they have never heard of them. The only one who supports me it's my best friend , she was like an Jonas Brothers lover (just because she didn't know any other bands) but she started to like the music I listened and became a BIG fan of alternative music <3

btw , sorry if my english is weird .-.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maroon-Princess47 In reply to Javicorpsebride [2010-04-19 02:51:47 +0000 UTC]

William looks GREAT on there, and so do the wings!

One girl just fails at life, really. We were discussing famous people who still make money after they die and the topic of musicians came up. I, of course, was the one who said John Lennon, and everyone else just said "Who?" I died a little inside when someone else said Tupac and everyone agreed.
My classmates are just pretty much stupid when it comes to anything that isn't played 25/8 on the radio. It's either mainstream stuff, rap shit, or pure crap (JUSTIN BEIBER, MILEY CYRUS. My classmates are in highschool, they should know better.)
They're also big on the whole gay = shitty. It's become a punchline for every joke, an insult for anything and everything, and it's used in everyday conversation. One teacher gives detentions if someone says "That sucks." or uses the word "suck" in a way like that, but she doesn't do a single thing when they use gay in a vulgar way. It's horrible.

(Your English is fine. Better than some people who live here, I'll tell you that.)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Javicorpsebride In reply to Maroon-Princess47 [2010-04-19 03:02:03 +0000 UTC]

ahaha thanks <3

Well , at least my classmates are a bit more intelligent than yours. They like the beatles and other great bands , anyways I don't like them too much but I understand the fact that they made something big , and I respect them. Tupac? Is that the guy that died and some people said that it's all a lie and he's alive making songs with another name? I felt strange when I read about him. I mean , the subliminal thing in songs and fake deaths scare me a little bit. And omg , they can't compare that guy with John Lennon , seriously...I feel proud of my classmates now!

Here , most of the people listen to reggaeton , it's like rap but with stupid lyrics. Like really , IT'S HORRIBLE. It only talks about sex and fuckin' everything that moves.

BTW, as I'm typing this, I've got another tab open going through you gallery. I'm on a spree here, lol. Your art is WONDERFUL!

I don't really know anything about it, I don't keep up with that kind of stuff, but I just know a lot of people were/are pissed about it. I think he was shot or something. I may be way off here though.
You should feel proud of them! They aren't catty little bitches who attend a Christian school. (I'm not Christian, but really, I'm sure at least one girl isn't a virgin, yet she claims to be a "good church-going child". Right.)

That sounds like pretty much 99% of today's music. JUSTIN BEIBER, the 16 year old boy that looks/sounds like a 9 year old girl, has collaborated with Jay-Z (shitty rap artist/autotune bitch). Even today's POP music is about fucking everything with a pulse. The only genre I can think of that hasn't been totally beaten, destroyed, criticized, and raped with a spoon is country. Nobody thinks about country, so it has just been going about it's business, staying (for the most part) unaffected by the shit going around in all the other genres. I think Taylor Swift was the closest thing country had to corruption. Not bad, I'd say.

The Academy Is... too. I mean , they didn't appear on a movie , but when About a Girl came out on MTV , everyone liked them . FOR GOOOD SAKES , I'VE BEEN TALKING OF THEM FOR MONTHS. AND EVERYONE STARED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY. Then , About a Girl comes and everyone suddenly likes them. I mean , the song is fine , but you can't tell to me that you love them. Don't tell to me that you're a fan. Don't tell to me that About a Girl is the best song ever , because they have better songs , like Down&out for example. And then , a month later , after all the AboutAGirlFever passed , they said 'omg the singer is such a fag'. He has a daughter. He has a great voice , makes amazing songs and has a skinny body. Get over it. He's not gay.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maroon-Princess47 In reply to Javicorpsebride [2010-04-19 04:30:48 +0000 UTC]

I have to confess, I didn't know about The Academy Is... until I saw the About A Girl video on MTV. BUT, it made me want to listen to more of their songs because a) William has a damn fine voice and b)William is damn fine. I know and love more songs than About A Girl. Personally, my favorites are Rumored Nights and Skeptics And True Believers.
I hate people who just say (from the ONE SONG THEY KNOW) that they know [insert random band name here] is "Teh b3st band 3var!!1!1!" That's just fucking ignorant and stupid.
The same thing with Panic! At The Disco!! After seeing "I Write Sins.." on MTV they suddenly LOVE Panic!, but can't name more than three songs. They don't know they split up. They don't know there was Brent before there was Jon. They don't know the names of anyone besides Brendon. They misspell Brendon. They refer to Ryan as "the gay one in make-up". He didn't even wear much make-up after AFYCSO!
I just hate the total over use of the word gay. It's not meant to be an insult, but today's generation just fucked it up beyond belief.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Javicorpsebride In reply to Maroon-Princess47 [2010-04-19 04:43:45 +0000 UTC]

I confess , the first song I listened of them was 'about a girl' because was the first one on the myspace list. (I read an article of them on an altern magazine so I checked their myspace) But that was a long time before they were on mtv here in Chile... , and like you said , it's okay if you like it. I mean , I like about a girl. It's great that you download their music because you saw that video , because you liked William's voice and their style. The people that I hate is the ones that say they're the 'fan nΒΊ1' but can't name any other song. And i've known many other fans that also started listening to them because of About a Girl , but at least they know the integrants and the other albums , those are the real fans... Last year , I went to a TAI...concert in March , and it was full of groupies. They just sang About a Girl. I wanted to kill them. I know so much people that would have done anything to go to the concert but they couldn't , and stupid fakes could go just because they have money. It's unfair.

Panic! At The Disco they're so unique. And everyone judges them because Ryan looked 'like a girl' (his make-up was amazing , by the way) or Brendon is weird. They don't even know Jon or Spencer. The only reason why my classmates know that they split up , it's because I've told them like a million times...and because last year I put a giant P!ATD poster of the concert in the classroom , and there were only two integrants instead of four. And that's it.

I agree with you , the gay word is used in such a bad way. It's horrible. Like i said before , they're just people. I mean who cares if they like their same sex , there's nothing wrong with that. We're like the same, except that men have pennis. (lol xD)

ok , I have to go...school tomorrow. It was nice talking to you Bye!

yes , I noticed , thank your for the million favourites (?) thanks , really

I read it like a year ago , I think. The guy was shot , but then everyone started to say that it was fake and that he was now making new music but like another person.Anyways , I don't think here in Chile anyone knows him.

And yes , I love my classmates , even if they say my bands are shit xD And I admire them because they're musicians (That's why they know about good music) I suck at music. I can't sing and I can't play any instruments. And most of them are not christian! (I also think that about the girls on christian schools. At least most of them...now the world is all based on who fucks more guys or girls. I haven't had my first kiss yet , so it kinda surprises me that some girls at 13 years old are not virgin )

Justin Beiber , haha! It reminds me of BEAVER everytime I hear his name. Now everything is about Lady Gaga and Justin Beiber. It freaks me out. Everyone thinks that they're the best in the world without knowing anything else...and the worst part is that they don't even like it. They 'like' what's popular. They don't care if all the songs sound the same , or if their voices are real , they just like it because everyone does. And that's why they hate the bands I like , but if they appear on MTV , OMG , THEN SUDDENLY PARAMORE IS AMAZING!! or tai... , or even Taylor Swift. I liked her before she appeared on MTV and everyone was like 'who the hell is she?' and didn't like her. Love Story appears on MTV , and suddenly everyone loves her. It makes me angry...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maroon-Princess47 In reply to Javicorpsebride [2010-04-19 03:50:17 +0000 UTC]

Yes, million favorites indeed. I'm still not done, lmao.

Oh. Well, I'll have to look that up later then.

Most of the kids aren't really anything. I go to a small school, so if anyone has a good talent, they normally leave to go to a bigger school. (I think the girl is actually fourteen. Maybe fifteen.) (I haven't had my first kiss yet either. D

Lol, now I'm going to think of Justin BEAVER too! Even funnier, I'm pretty sure he's Canadian.
I think it's really saying something when people WORLD WIDE know how bad someone is. And that thing where people like something when it is shown on tv/played in a movie (don't EVEN get me started with the Twilight fans that only like "Decode" and Paramore because it was in the movie.)
They like a band/singer because they're popular, not because they've got talent, that's absolutely right. It's bands/singers like those that get forgotten so easily. The Beatles had talent. The Rolling Stones had talent. Madonna has talent. Cher had talent. People like those stick around for a reason. They had talent and people liked them because of it.

our school is like...good or popular or something because they teach us english from the very first grade. That's why I can talk to you right now! But there are also a lot of students that are good at music , they're great. I find it a lot more difficult to play an instrument that drawing , but they say to me that it's not that hard- i don't know. (yaaay , now I feel a bit more normal because of my virgin lips (?))

Justin BEAVER! I mean , I think Beiver sound like beaver. I always thought of it like that xD me and my friends call him 'castor' (castor=beaver in spanish).
I'm a twilight fan , but like a moderated one. Not like the annoying fans...it's horrible how they can turn that saga into something so hateful. And the worst part is that most of them didn't read the books , and just like Robert Pattinson (I don't like him...and I don't like Edward.) Paramore got ruined with that. They've got so much better songs that Decode...and now everyone says 'I LOVE PARAMORE <333' and they just know 2 songs. I hate people like that , they make fans look stupid , and the truth is that not all fans are like that.

(Hooray! If you didn't know English, then I guess we could just have a translator in the next tab open all the time, lol. I do that everytime I see a comment in another language.)

Everyone's differently inclined, whether it be academically, musically, artistically, athletically, or whatever. I happen to be academically inclined, but I can play one instrument. I'm currently trying to learn piano, because it is the most beautiful instrument ever, in my opinion, but right now, I can only play a snare drum. Not even a drum set. D:
(I'm so referring to him as Justin Castor now, lmao!)
I agree that Paramore totally got trashed with Decode. The pre-teen Edward fans only know Decode. Most don't even know who Paramore is besides "the band that possibly could have made Decode from Twilight". Every time a good band gets that kind of recognition, the fans from before look like they're just on the same bandwagon. It really is a tragic thing.

(yes we could , but the translators i've seen are really bad! so it's really good i know some english , and i love how I can practise it here because with my class we're going to USA in July and i'll have to survive 10 days talking in english , i hope i can D: )

i'm good academically too , I mean i get good marks at most of the subjects , the bad thing is i'm not interested in them...i don't like any. Just art , so i guess in the future i'll be living behind a bridge and drawing things lol. I also think piano is the most beautiful instrument ever , but one of the most difficult to play! I can't even play it with one hand D: I mean I can't play anything. when i had compulsory music classes , I used to play flute. Wow , that was really funny to see. I was so nervous my hands shaked so much...everyone laughed at me. I wanted to die. And the teacher wanted to kill me because I couldn't do anything. At least you don't shake and you can play something , that's great Hopefully one day you'll be able to play piano <3

I totally agree with you. Real fans get lost with so many fake ones...it's a shame

(Where in the USA are you going? Probably somewhere like Washington D.C., right?)

History is interesting for me sometimes. If I had no math, bible, science, or p.e. classes at school, I'd love to go. Algebra can become lost from all of mankind for all I care. That's just torture.
I've played around with the idea of learning to play the flute, but I want to concentrate on learning piano. Thank you for the encouragment! I really envy people who can play by ear though. I'm going to have to learn to do that too.
And I want to continue with the drumming. The whole drumline has a performance in a few weeks and we still sound like shit. I'm pretty sure it won't go very well because only three fucking people seem to know what the hell is going on. Most of the problem is that it includes little kids from fifth grade on up, so they can't play at all. I've just got a great big mess on my hands. ( I hate when no one gets these kinds of jokes in my school D: )

(we're going to NY , Washington and Orlando , just for Disney. We're staying 10 days , I think.)

Algebra , god. It's ilogic. I don't know how they can invent so many things with an 'x'. it freaks me out... hate science too. And p.e , omg. I just suck at that D: i'm too clumsy. I swear I can't even walk well , so running or playing or anything with coordination is imposible to me. I HATE P.E. But I rather do that than volley. I can not play , and last year i had to be in volley. And the guy I like played too and I always made stupid things around him. Horrible days.

One of my friends can play piano by ear , but she's not really into playing intruments. She is better drawing (she's AMAZING. Her deviantart is , you should check her gallery. I love her style , is so unique <3) But if you make a lot of effort , you'll play piano very well , it's all about practising. And continue with the drumming too! If you have talent in music , you should improve it <3 If I could do all that things , I'd feel proud of myself and who was the 'intelligent' one that said that you had to play with the fifth grade ones? I mean , it's not a good idea. Even if they're kids , they don't know how to do that kind of stuff well...I hope your performance turns out well.

aaaah! now you've got a big , big , big , big mess on your hands I love those jokes too. I'm always saying them , even if no one understands me lol. Btw, thanks for giving me your email you use msn , right?

(Ah, figures. Disney is awesome though, hope you have fun!)

I hate algebra with burning passion. This is due in part to my boring-as-fuck teacher who loves teaching the new lesson in twenty minutes or less. Most of the class period is used to answer everyone's questions because no one knows what the hell they're supposed to do. Science is okay sometimes because that teacher doesn't like giving tests, so we haven't had a single Science test all. year. So yeah, that's always good. I'm so uncoordinated in PE too. And I'm weak apparently, because I can't do shit in the weight room where they make 12-16 year old girls lift weights for an hour. And everything's got to be perfectly straight or else you'll break your body. It's just a matter of time before I end up with a broken something. -__-

She's so lucky! She should play! I am practicing, and practicing, and practicing like nobody's business. I love it so I really want to work at it, but the metric shitload of homework I have to do kinda distracts me for a good while.

I have no idea who made the executive decision, but whoever it was obviously hasn't heard the little brats play. We've only just finished learning the entire program today (we practice ONCE a week) and the concert/program/recital/whatever is on May 15th, I think. Middle of May, that's all I know. We still sound like shit, but it's got an identifiable rhythym now. We're slowly progressing. Next year, they're going to have auditions to get into drumline, thank GOD. And there's going to be an age limit.

Hehe, I normally don't say them because they make ABSOLUTELY no sense out of context, lol. Like one of my personal CobraCam favorites, "Did you say you're going to add dill to that dough?" Love those guys (and Vicky-T!) so much!!

(Yes, I use MSN. Also Windows Live Messenger, which are both connected to hotmail.)

oh , i sent it before i finished , sorry.
well , i was in the reggaeton thing. I'm not going to say that it's not music , because then I'll be like the stupid people in my school. But really , the lyrics are no-sense and now they're trying to make the reggaeton go tecno. They don't know what to do to sell more.

AND OMG , THE SAME THING HERE ABOUT THE GAYS. I'm so proud of being a gay-lover , i mean i'm not a lesbian or anything but i don't think there is something wrong with them. They're people! And I can't believe some persons are more afraid of a gay than of a murder. It's stupid. I had a teacher that bothered my best friend because everyone think he's gay (and he's not , btw) and humiliated him in front of the whole class. I hate him with all my life , and we started such a big problem that now he's not making classes to us anymore. I'm happy about that.
