I remember you Hillary. I was doodling at work the other day and remembered how I used to go on this site and post random junk and look at other people's art. And I kinda missed it.
So I logged in and this was the first thing I find. Seeing your comment makes me want to start up again even more.

Well I guess were still a band, just not really very seriously anymore. We all got jobs that make it really hard to go off and do shows like we used to. That and our drummer and lead singer are getting married. Which is cool, but only makes jamming that much more difficult. Now we just hang out and occasionally play music together.

Although I still like the rock idea... I'll do it.

Anyways, what have you been up too?

That's good. I probably should have taken school more seriously. Not that I did bad, but I didn't really make the most of the courses available. I could have picked classes that would have made the transition to college a lot easier. Long story short. I should've taken physics...
Anyways, I hope that turns out well for you! And do what you love! I spent pretty well my entire time off DA in a job I hated simply because it paid well. Then a couple of months ago I was all like, "What the feck am I doing? I hate my job. And my job is consuming my life..." So I quit. Now I make way less money, but I'm way happier. Plus I'm back on DA
Also, don't stay up for me. Sleep is a good thing.

Okay.
Right now I work at a bike shop. We sell bikes, skis, snowboards, hiking gear and so on. Plus I get to fix bikes and ski gear sometimes, which is what I really like. In the fall I'm hoping to get a mechanic apprenticeship. For cars. Unless something else comes up, which is possible.

Design is really cool. Plus with how enormous the internet is now people are going to be needing designers a lot. Unless you mean clothes design, which is also pretty neat. My sister is an accountant and does math all day. I don't think I could handle that, but she loves it!

Ooooh~ So cool! 8D I don't even know what to say, it's pretty unique~ I mean, oh, i thought about having a shop one day (when i was a little kid) ... But this is beyond awesome~ :3 specially when you like what you do~ Also, i dunno many people that would choose doing so o3o Here in Brazil it seems like everyone wants the same thing... QAQ
Well, I'm not sure yet. XD I'm pretty certain I won't be dealing with clothes though, I can't even get dressed properly
Still thinking about maths.. I'm seriously looking forward to Design... Mom would be worried though o3o' i dunno. about money, maybe..

Yeah, it's pretty cool. I don't own the shop though, I wish I did.
People are pretty money driven here too. It's kinda sad.

I know that clothes problem. I went the whole day without socks today... Which made a lot of people at work laugh at me. But at least they got some enjoyment out of it.
I dunno what to tell your mom. Just say "It's hiptser life, deal with it mom."
Actually don't, I'm sure your mom is just trying to make sure you get the best in life.
