Just because I'm curious, how much would you charge for a book cover if commissioned? Just a ballpark is fine. You have some serious talent and very amazing pieces.

thank you! I guess it depends on the complexity of the illustration! haven't done any book covers for a long time. I think it's better to charge your work for the time it will take you. Again thank you very much! :D (Big Grin)

wow, you're so amazing! i'm wondering how you make your paintings, do you always use a 3D base to paint it later?

No, but in Space Journey I did. First I made a paint sketch where I defined the composition, values, and lighting. Pretty much the most important stuff. Then I did a simple 3D blocking, which I later took it to photoshop to paint over and give the details, color, and all the good stuff.

can I ask you another question? did you paint all the elements in Valley? or you do something like a photo manipulation and then paint it?

photomanipulation+paint. Pretty much like a matte painting.
