PS! I have forgot for part 4. Basic Natural and synthetic. cellulose and portein; basic characteristics of the different fiber types; ways of making faberic from fibers; common finishes; fabric terms (wicking, resiliency, strength and etc.

- 1. Sewing machine part and sewing tools. (define the machine parts and sewing tools.)
- 2. Basic sewing knowledge and terminology. (ex. clip, notch(when its used), grain(lengthwise and crosswise), selvage, bias, grain line (why its good to cut it there), raw edge,warp threads, filling(weft) threads )
- 3. Standard seam allowance, different ways to finish seams, back edge and top stitching, basting (when or why used), Techniques for sewing corners.
- 4. Fiber and fabric knoledge Review "lets learn about fabrics", fiber fabric review sheet and interfacing.
- 5. Clothing care basics. (enzymes and how they work) ways of treating stains, ways to store items (linen, hand knits) info on care labels, care symbols and their meaning,and meaning of an 'X' through label.
- 6. Review "Using commercial patterns" basic preparing to sew steps, reading a pattern envelope.reading patterning instruction sheet, preparing your pattern, pattern pieces and info on them, fabric preparing, layout diagram, and pattern markings.(this is like the commercial pattern exercise)
That is all Well I didnt want to put in short form because it would be better if it was in detail.
