I'm not exactly sure - it might have been the structure of a couple of sentences, but I can't really remember! There's also a certain way of using American phraseology that I think I noticed you use which some songwriters in my local area make use of when they're embarrassed to sing in their native accents.

Agreed, although sadly I don't get much of that myself since I'm not very well-known Sweating a little... My username isn't inspired by anything I can remember, to be honest, although I do recall thinking it was a great phrase after hearing it somewhere (I have a feeling that in biochemistry an assay device is used to, well, assay enzymes in cells, so I might've picked it up from a friend talking about that). How about you? Does your name come from the fact you're a mean breed? :D (Big Grin)

Haha I’m not really very well known either tbh, I just like getting the odd comment on my stuff when I actually bother to write anything, which is seemingly becoming quite sparse these days! Lol.

I thought it did sound rather science-y! it’s a really cool name though, good work! Haha

Mine is actually super boring, it’s a handle I’ve used since forever ago, Meanbreed was the name of my old band when I was a teenager way back when. I was a thrash metal guy back in the day- misspent youth! Haha 😂
