Indeed it is! Don't know many Bleach cosplayers around here. I think interest in the series has died down in North America, compared to Europe/Asia where it still seems kinda popular. XD

Aww, that sucks.
I don't think it's super popular here either; it's mostly Vocaloid, Hetalia and Kuroshitsuji cosplayers running around. Naruto and Bleach seem to have died down a bit, but you can still find them at cons and there might be groups... or at least I'm running a Bleach group in Finland with some others.

Or maybe I'm the one who's slow, because I haven't been a Bleach nut for so long and I'm way behind in the manga. xD If you wonder how far let's say it's not long ago I read that Aizen betrayed Soul Society, so yeah...

LOL I'm a "newbie" fan too. Read all the manga in May 2010 in one weekend. This summer I watched all the (canon) episodes of the anime. I do remember back in the day (2007ish) when Bleach was everywhere and I was he only one in my group of friends who wasn't into it at all. *kicks past self* Now everyone isn't into it anymore, and I absolutely love it. XDDD

I'm sort of running a local cosplay group too, but so far it seems like I'm the only one super excited about plans. (Trying to get an arrancar group together!)

The anime is hilarious, especially all the fun omake things! I love bleach so much more because of the omakes and silly things. XD

Haha, well....might not happen as soon as I hoped it would, but hopefully some form of Bleach group will happen. Like Bleach Hipsters At Starbucks. XD
