Hey, hey! I'm Mellefant20 and I'm a writer and photographer...Um...
What to say, what to say...
Well, I'm 15. I'm best in my half year at maths, science and I'm good at english. I love music and enjoy drama, it gives me a chance to step out of my shell a pretend to be someone with confidence, cause I'm not. If I was to sum me up in two words:
Lazy perfectionist. (sp?)
Complicated, I know.
I'm half English, half Uruguay...an :s. I was born there and moved here when I was 1 and a half, so I speek a little spanish.
The two mottos I like to live by are:
1. "You lose a lot of time hating people." Marian Anderson.
2. "A man who doesn't think for himself deosn't think at all." Oscar Wilde.
So, yeah. I like to be my own person, making my own choises.
My mum is strange and likes to call me ridiculous names, like:
Yellow monkey
Frizz head
Planned mistake
Creepy moron
The Mellefant (I trod on one of my dogs :()
and so on and so forth.
My favourite past time is reading. The first book I ever loved was The Little Catapiler" and I would read it over and over when I was little. I still love it now. But as I got older my tastes changed and my mum brought me The Spiderwick Chronicals". That was when reading really started and, no matter how good soome books were, my heart was always in magic and mystery, like "Percy Jackson", "Harry Potter" and even, even though I'm 15, "Pippi Longstocking". I named one of dogs after her.
I read old things like "Sherlock Holmes" and "Oliver Twist" so I have a wider range of vocabulary, or something like that...
So people find this strange, but, even though I'm not religious I love reading the Bible and Muslim prayers and chants of any kind.
My other love is music, "Music is what feelings sound like," I play piano, flute, harmonica, guitar and did a year of trombone (which means I know where to blow. Ha! that rhymes).
My family includes mum, dad, step-dad, two step-brothers (who don't live with me) and the dogs- Spark plug the guzzelator/Sparky (the one I trod on, but did not name) and Piplotta/Pippi (the one a did name).
Oh, yeah and my dads only fish (the other one died).
Okay...
Thats about it...
Meh.
