Yeah I have a few in the works. One is kind of floating around in my head, the other I am collaborating on with my brother. The collab is actually quite far along and we hope to look to get it published within the next few years (we've been working on it for about 3 or so years now). Hopefully my art will become more solid by then.

Oh really, mind giving a bit of a teaser about it? I'm in the same boat. I went ahead and started to self publish. put a few of the images on here but the first chapter is on tapastic.com which i refine my work. You just got to jump in it you know? I'm hoping to get the next chapter to my comic (The Absolute) out by the end of the month. I really refined my art from the first and spent more time on it. Finished the first chap in a month lol

Yeah sounds interesting to say the least, I wish i could grasp more of the story like you said. It's hard to gauge just by a general synopsis like that but it sounds promising definitely! Are you guys going straight for the full book to book graphic novel or are you going to produce issues? I would love to see your stuff out on a stand this year.

I am not against having issues, but my brother really wants Graphic novels. I have to agree with him though, because the story has so much to it that it may seem a bit lost if it was put into issues. 
I'd love to try and make my story I'm brainstorming be in issues, it's something I've never really done. I like the graphic novel too much lol. 
I'd love to see it too lol. Dark Horse seems like a viable option for us, but we're staying open to any who will pick us up and willing to work with us.

Yeah agree definitely, I think mine all compiled will be about 3 volumes but it doesn't to test the proverbial waters. Well if you can get a good release schedule it really wouldn't loose that ommf!
best way to get into a big company like that is to take what you have and go to a comic con. I'm kinda waiting to compile a bit of material before i take it to a publishing house. so far i mean, it seems like people want to read it, i just want a tighter knit of the artwork which is hard to do alone

Thanks for the advice, I would love to take stuff to comic cons. 
Sounds like we are definitely in the same boat - with the art I mean. Hopefully we can both get somewhere with a publisher!

I've really picked up with my creativity lately, but I just got a morning shift job at a hardware store, so my progress as a comic book artist has been slowed down a bit, lol. Hopefully once the summer hits I'll find some kind of luck with getting somewhere. So how's it going with you? Anything new or exciting?

Keep it up man haha. Nothing greater than life experiences working at a hardware store to fuel that creative engine. True story. I worked in hardware before..

Oh man slow, very slow. working six days a week but I been pushing to finalize the second chapter of the absolute this week. I was really dawdling on it for a while but i suppose starting a novel can really pull your time too lol.

I heard that they are having their first con up in Cadillac in May. I really want to go but we'll see.

Lol writing novels really pulls time away. I've been trying to write one and its taking forever. I also have a hard time sticking to it.
