I think of myself as rather an honest person. That is not to say I do not lie. I will happily misdirect the truth, or agree with a complete fabrication of the truth for honest and dishonest reasons.I will often smuggle large portions of heartfelt truth by introducing one obvious lie into their midst. The receiver recognises the lie, and thus believes that all of what I have told them is false. I find it useful when you cannot bear to keep the truth to yourself, nor can you bear the consequences of anyone finding out.
Another technique, and a useful one at that, it to tell the absolute and utter truth, with a completely straight face, and then laugh as the receiver begins to believe it. They will assume that the truths are false, and that you have been playing them for a fool. Perhaps ironically, in this situation, they only become the fool when they disbelieve your words.
Lie, you may have realised, can be far too harsh a word for what I usually practise. Yet falsehood sounds altogether far too pretentious. Misdirection is merely a street performerβs code word for their art.
Like many people, I exploit human nature for my own gain, to weave a cocoon of truths around me that no one can see through. However, I have found a way to give my metaphorical cocoon physical existence. Writing.
In all my fictitious works, I place a vein of truth; in every truth, an element of fantasy. As you read, you will slowly find yourself encapsulated by my lies and you might be lucky enough to glimpse a fragment of the real me.

That's good to know =7= *sigh* Well anyway I'm writing an Italy x Japan fanfiction.....I'm on chapter 4.....( Remember when I wrote that FMA story that sucked and only had a page for a chapter? Now It's six pages a chapter and much better writing! XD ) Basically it's Halloween night and Japan visits Italy and gives him a present. Italy hugs him, which shocks japan and causes him to trip over a trash can and hit his head on the wall KILLING HIM-err I mean knocking him out cold. Italy panic's and carries him to his bed ( OH LA LA ) Italy waits a few minutes and then starts to panic again. Romano yells at him to shut the hell up and Italy calms down...a little. Italy then proceeds to sexually harrass Japan. Japan wakes up and is all like . Japan slaps him and storms out. The next day Italy tries to find him and fails. At the same time Russia is packing up to visit N.Korea and Russia leaves the baltics behind! ( WOOT! ) America bugs England to no extent and he throws a plate of scones at him and tries to kill him ( pssst...He fails ) The next day Poland comes around and starts an awesome party that includes soda,candy, and music! Italy finds Japan. THE END! Well, not really but that's all at the moment

I'm writing a little script for a short film at the moment (that probably won't be made, but I can hope), which means I'm ignoring the scripts I should be writing, which could get made... Typical. Also trying to write lots of things in the background - I've got something about a rebel angel, something about a slightly not-evil mindreader and a huge universe that involves two demons, Arthurian mythology, Italian magicians and some dead people.
I haven't even started on the biggest universe, though... *facepalm*
