Thank you so much! I saw you at ALA but you were being swarmed by photographers it seemed, so I didn't want to bother you

Hopefully I'll run into you at some other conventions or we can set up a photoshoot sometime. Your cosplays all look awesome!

Ha! Thank you!! But you wouldn't of been a bother, I only had one or two "shoots" so I would have loved to have worked with you! I am hoping to incorporate a few more costumes for this years conventions, so far it looks that I am going to Gallifrey 1, Anime Expo, and Comic Con for sure, and Fanime tentatively ~

I'm not sure yet if I'll be going to ALA, but I'm hoping to do so. I typically go to the SDCA gatherings, but haven't really been too active at cons. I live in Spring Valley.

I can't believe no one's given you an invite to one of them! There's a horror-themed one on the 13th at Boomers in El Cajon, and there's a generic one on the 21st at Flynn Springs park, though that one's a bit of a drive, even for me. I'll send you the invites of FB.

I do tend to go overboard with the photoshop a little too often

I've been trying to focus more on the lighting recently - most of what I'm using has been a home-made system.. during PMX I tried some background lighting and "effect lighting" (gels and such) - a lot of the stuff I'd like to bring just isn't practical at conventions, so I'm hoping to do some more local photoshoots to test that out.

Really liking your shots also - maybe I'll run into you at a con one of these days!

A little. I must say, I dislike overusing photoshop. In fact, I only use LR. Macro-level editing, not small details and skin smoothing.
