And I'm really into anime, thanks to my boyfriend - my favs are Fullmetal Alchemist, Vampire Knight, and Deathnote. I also love Sherlock, Once Upon a Time, & Hemlock Grove
Favorite bands / musical artists: I'm pretty much into anything but rap, but even come of that is tolerable. I'm really all over the place when it comes to music, I tend to like most of it if it has a good sound or god lyrics.
Favorite books: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Divergent (series), A Song of Ice and Fire
Favorite writers: J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Amanda Sun, George R.R. Martin
Favorite games: I haven't played many games, unfortunately I'm not very good at them. But I really like playing Skyrim, and as soon as I get the nerve to play The Last of Us, the game will no longer belong to the boyfriend... Thief and The Order also look amazing.
Favorite gaming platform: PS3 and PS4 all the way!
Tools of the Trade: I usually use straight pencil or charcoal for my drawings and sketches, as I'm not crazy comfortable with color, but lately I'm doing some painting, so I'm slowly getting used to it

# About me
Hi! I'm Jessica - although I don't like the name, I'd rather be called Jess or something like that :PI'm really not all that interesting a person. I'm way too shy, way too nervous, too vulnerable, and a little too crazy. I may not be much of an artist, but I absolutely LOVE anything having to do with art. I just draw and sketch but I would love to get into photography (or have a modeling session where I'm all prettied up :P), and I just love paintings.
I currently am in university, which sucks out your soul and eats away at your brain with a spoon. I've received my B.A. in Sociology and Psychology, and am currently doing Anthropology while I wait to apply for my Masters. My aim isn't really to do research, but to just help people in need. I want to be someone who can show them that there is a lighter side to the darkness they may be in, which is what I needed at one time.
I am a proud nerd, going by my name you can guess I'm into anime - the favorite being FMA Brotherhood. Love manga, anime, gaming ... you name it :) I've also been a Potterhead since the very beginning, HP is my life <3 Anything you want to know about the Potter world, I can tell you. I'm also in love with Sherlock ... I think I might have a thing for Brits ... ;)
Anyway, that's enough about me.
