# About me
Hi... Well my hobby is sort of collecting hobbies so my page is a seemingly random collection of things. I love to travel, read, crochet, write, work on illustrator, make chain-mail, sew, and... well a handful of other things. I'm also a total geek, I love Doctor Who, Sherlock, most anime (except for mecha... never mecha), good video games, and yes I do occasionally cosplay.I'm the mother of a beautiful two year old boy named Nikolai who was born in Anchorage Alaska. As well as a proud Norse Pagan.
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what else to say so... goodbye
Personal Quote: Our past influences everything, and dictates nothing

Hi, I don't know if you still come here somethimes but I have a question regarding the norse gods. I wonder if there is a symbol for Frigg, Odins wife. I know Mjolnir is a symbol for Thor and that's a symbol I love very much. But I also like Frigg a lot and I would like to, I don't know, where her symbol on a necklace or something.

There isn't really a specific symbol that represents Frigg that I know of at lest. But I totally understand where your coming from. I would suggest using something more personal to represent the goddess. Something that speaks out to you as either representing her, or your relationship with her. In lieu of that the best suggestion I could give would be a pendant with her named spelled in runes or something to represent her husband or son. Because on of the most integral parts of Frigg is the love and dedication she carries for her family. Much like Sigyn one of the best ways to honor her is to honor her family first. I hope this helps! And please don't hesitate to ask if there's anything else I can do.

Thank you! I will think about it for a while and see what will appeal to me the most. I dug up my book about runes and it's fun reading it again. The thing I love about Frigg the most is her devotion to her family, and I also like the fact that she lost her son just like me so she would probably understand.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Frigg is a wonderful goddess to connect to. She's helped a lot of people through dark times because, just like you said, she understands. And please, if you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask. I'd love to help.
The studying the runes always helps me feel a little more grounded, they're like a breath of fresh air when I need it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one

Thank you for the help! I've made a pendant with her name in runes and I'm very happy with the result.
I love reading about the runes! Some time ago I talked with my six year old daughter about it and I showed her how to write her own name in runes. Yesterday she coloured a picture at school and wrote her name on it in runes instead of in the alphabet.

I'm so glad it worked out! I've been a little behind in my rune studies lately, but then I have a two year old boy so...
I love to hear about pagan parents getting their kids involved. A lot choose not to because they're afraid of forcing their child into any one religion. Which I understand, but personally I teach my son about my religion to show him that I'm proud of who I am and what I believe. I always tell him, "This is what mommy believes, and if you decide that you don't believe the same thing, that's ok because there is no such thing as the right answer when it comes to religion, only the answer that is right for you."
